Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins - Cabin #2

This Northern Michigan cabin can accommodate up to five people. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and a twin bed. There is also a futon in the living room. The cabin has a full bathroom and a kitchen with basic cooking and dining essentials. Wi-Fi, a live-streaming TV, outdoor seating, and a private charcoal grill are also included. Situated along the Platte River, the resort offers shared access to two riverfront decks, a bonfire ring, a propane grill, and a picnic table.

The cabin does have hot water! The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stovetop, oven, sink, cabinets, coffee maker, microwave, and a toaster.

Guests have access to all of the resort's outdoor amenities.

The property owners live next door to the cabins in a private residence.

Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins is right on US-31 as it goes through the small northern Michigan town of Honor. Honor does have a grocery store, a post office, a gas station, and a few restaurants, bars, stores, banks, and churches. Honor is also home to the famous Cherry Bowl Drive-In Theater, which is still in operation each summer! The Cherry Bowl is also right on US-31 and it's less than one-half of a mile from Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins! It provides for fun family entertainment each night during the summer!

The location of the resort right on US-31 is also very convenient for travel to nearby Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Traverse City, Interlochen, Beulah, Crystal Lake, Crystal Mountain, Frankfort, and Lake Michigan. The location really provides a wonderful and very convenient base from which to explore northern Michigan! :-)

It is highly recommended that guests have their own vehicle.

Sleeping Bear Riverside Cabins offers five charming Northern Michigan cabins nestled along the picturesque Platte River. Located on US-31, our cabins provide easy access to stunning natural scenery and water activities.

Each cabin is heated and available for year-round rental. They come equipped with a kitchen stocked with basic cooking and dining utensils, a living room, and a full bathroom. Enjoy modern amenities like Wi-Fi and a television with live streaming options, including Hulu. Cabin #1 features a TV in the bedroom, while the other cabins have theirs in the living rooms. Cabin #3 boasts a cozy electric fireplace. All cabins are equipped with private charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). While there’s no air conditioning, portable fans are available during the summer.

Cabin Details:

Cabin #1: The largest, all-in-one unit that accommodates the most guests.
Cabins #2 & #3: Private units in a duplex setting.
Cabins #4 & #5: Also private duplex units.

We are dog-friendly and allow up to two dogs per reservation (no other pets permitted). If you plan to bring your furry friends, please ensure they are included in your reservation to apply the pet fee correctly.

The river offers a variety of recreational opportunities! While the current can be strong, the shallow water is perfect for wading and refreshing dips. You can also fish, kayak, or canoe directly from the property. Parents should supervise children closely, as the current can be swift.

* PETS: We allow up to 2 dogs with each reservation. More than 2 dogs or any kind of pet other than a dog is strictly prohibited. If bringing 1 or 2 dogs, PLEASE MAKE CERTAIN THAT THEY ARE INCLUDED ON THE RESERVATION SO THAT THE PET FEE IS PROPERLY APPLIED.
* OCCUPANCY: The person making the reservation must be one of the people that is actually staying at the property. We do not allow individuals to make reservations for others.
* QUIET HOURS: For the respect of other guests, please be quiet outside between the hours of 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.

This cabin offers its guests barbecue grills. The front desk is open around the clock.
