Cons: The room had peeling paint, the vents were coated in thick grime and dust, the sheets were clean but stained, the towels were dingy. There are a couple of slums alongside the hotel so the view was looking at them from our side of the building Pros: excellent location, 5 min walk to the beach, normal sized pillows, felt safe around the area

We like the location. It was excellent. The room was spacious, but the lamps could only be turned on by plugging and unplugging the outlet. We had to find an outlet that would work for the microwave. Some of the outlets did not work. It’s an older hotel, but it was good for the price.

Front desk Staff was not friendly and stopped the other staff to not hand me the cheap breakfast bag - she was strict with some senseless policy on this breakfast items that doesn’t make good customer service even though we have the room key as proof of being guests- item was cheap but it is the customer friendliness that counts more. We won’t even eat or drink those items. Maybe not her fault and just following rules but still didn’t make us feel good.

For the price wasnt worth it. And no sense have a swimming pool, was too cold cuz its coverd by the building. The parking is $45 a day and its valet only. That was not specified. The staff was nice and friendly tho.

Where is the Aloha. No Aloha no Hawaii😢
Prior two weeks, there was no Air conditioning. On the 17th of October there was no hot water. Front desk there has no Aloha personality. Just straight faced business. Their concern about the conditions there was “it is what it is”. I’m local and I feel sport for the tourists who experience these conditions. Shame on you Ohia!!!😢
