The ocean view was insanely gorgeous. I didn’t like how easily accessible it was for literally anybody to walk in and thru the property. I’d suggest to have the beach walk accessible to public during the day and closed after a certain hour. This way you ensure the safety of your guests and the public

Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel and view from room stunning. Downside is the size of room specifically the bathroom very small for the cost of stay. No room to put out toiletries in there. There were also weddings which some were a little noisy going into the night. Overall enjoyed our stay.

Perfect setting for couples, girls/guys vaca, or families. The balconies are currently under construction (October 2024) so the noise was annoying while spending time in the beach and not accessible. But the views and the emenities made up for it!

incredibly good location and very nice property with many things around. the pool is small but the beach is just there!!unfortunately it is the property in the area with less chairs fos clients so impossible to book the six they have except when you start queing before 7 am rooms are small but this you know when you book the surprise was the size of the baths, incredibly small. honestly many people will have serious issues with that toilet!! difficult to fit it. The hotel area was so incredibly noisy we could not sleep at all. On top of that we found out our room was located over the area the hotel holds the wedding receptions so there was no peace for the entire 7 day trip. We were exhausted the entire time. Since we went there for work it was absolutely horrible!! Furthermore, our room was right next to an elevator and so we heard the dinging all night long as well.

Construction while staying there from 8:00am-5:00pm. Was there for 6 days and had $450 is resort fee’s. I heard they were grateful for having people vacation there in (Honolulu) but I’m guessing it was maybe Maui. I didn’t get the impression anyone was grateful for us being there.

While the hotel is beautiful and historic, I thought the “upgrade” we received upon check-in would have been a true upgrade, but instead the bathroom is smaller and we couldn’t sleep the entire stay because of the street noise and front of the hotel throughout the day and night. We also didn’t know there would be live music every night and we are early sleepers. Though that wasn’t what kept us up, it was all the street noise, screams, trucks and everything else on the main road and we could hear everything every hour. Since we had so many early morning day tours booked everyday, we couldn’t imagine how we could have changed rooms after the first night. I wouldn’t stay in the historic wing again unless it faced the ocean side. This was our first trip to Hawaii and we had hoped for a better room experience.
