Just a short walk to so many of the things our wonderful Alaskan town has to offer - gourmet restaurants, sandwich shops, Thai, Sushi, pizzerias, characterful bars, cheerful cafés with locally roasted coffee, art galleries & pottery shops featuring the myriad of talented local artists who call Homer home; The Pratt Museum, the Islands & Oceans Visitor Center, a movie theater - even the beach ... all within striking distance of this charming house.
A short drive away is the famous Homer Spit which leads you to the harbor and all the fabulous fishing & nature activities we offer here.
Completely rebuilt and remodeled, this historic house was saved by its owners as a piece of Homer's history. It has everything you will need for a most comfortable stay - a brand new full kitchen to prepare your freshly caught fish, two bedrooms each with their en suite bathrooms, and a guest restroom if you have extra people. One bedroom has two extra long twin beds that can be made in to a King bed. The other has a Queen bed. Its spacious deck is warm and sunny and has a view of the Bay and mountains beyond. Though right in town, it has a lovely private, woodsy feel. Don't be surprised to find a moose napping under the trees!
