Easy Access to Surf City Beach on Topsail Island
Accepts short stays.
3 Bedrooms / 1 Bathrooms / Sleeps 6
On the corner of Anderson Road and Sunset Avenue, this vintage beach cottage is directly across the road from the oceanfront at beach access 0-2A, a tucked away sand dune crossover. Even in the high season, this neighborhood is peaceful and benign, as there is no public parking crowd allowed in the area. Your crew can scurry back and forth to the waves as much as they want! Sunset Avenue is a tiny residential alley lined with old growth live oaks, terminating in a gentle sand ramp into the intracoastal waterway. Bring your paddleboards and kayaks, or if you prefer, rent one of ours! The property owner offers 2 kayaks for rent: pay an extra $100 to rent one, or $150 for both. Bikes, surf/skim/ and body boards are just a few doors down at Topsail Surf and Cycle; it couldn't be more convenient! And you can easily walk your boards down the alley; you are only steps from the water in either direction. Some of the best local sea-to-table dining is at the Beach Shop & Grill, only a mile and a half from your door, in the heart of Historic Topsail Beach. Step back in time to a gentler era at Sea and Sound. You are renting the top duplex.

Things To Do
Topsail Island is a hidden gem along the NC coast, known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and charming coastal towns like Surf City. From sunbathing and swimming to fishing and surfing, there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy on this beautiful island. Explore the local shops and restaurants, take a fishing cruise out with an area fishing guide, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun. With so much to see and do on Topsail Island, your vacation will be filled with unforgettable memories and moments of pure relaxation. Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shorelines. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway, “Tops’l” as the locals call it, is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier. 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier, which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail, as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward of the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center for laid back and family friendly things to do on Topsail. Each of these attractions offers its own unique charm and adds to the allure of a vacation on Topsail Island.
