Not worth the price. Very expensive. No one is really on site to help you. There is a sign up in the front office to just call a number if you need something, but no one answers. Tried calling multiple times the week of - no response. You check in with a key code - very impersonal. The rooms aren’t insulated enough - you hear everything around you. Little space to move around. They text you at 6am the day of checkout to tell you to clean up after yourself and take your trash to the dumpster.

Overall a great stay, spent most days in the beach. But was perfect to get a restful nights sleep and never-charged for the next day. Room was clean and comfy. Direct path to the public beach access across the street for ease. Will be back

This place was overall excellent. It was located conveniently across the street from the beach and was an easy walk over. You could rent beach chairs for a very reasonable price. Staff was friendly, place was clean. The only major complaint we had is we put our towel bag and sign out on the 3rd day for new towels. It stated to place sign and bag out before 3pm. We did around 10am. After we arrived back from the beach and pool around 4pm. We still did not have towels. The next morning, still no towels replaced. We survived. Also the pool towel bin was empty for two days straight as well. But overall, great place and stay.

It was close to the beach. We rented an umbrella two days. Had a problem with the shower and got a plumber there that day to fix it. Swimming pool was nice. We would stay there again.

Smells really bad in the rooms, like smoke and I hate the smell of smoke but if was smoked in for years you probably won’t be able to fix that. But it was an ok stay just not worth what was charged for it. Also, the shower needs upgrading; felt like you were going to fall through the floor and the shower head needs updating. Lastly, there were never any wash cloths in the room to replenish our wash cloths, everytime my husband went to get them; there were never any available. Also, I just had a c section and it was hard walking up those steps everyday, maybe think about installing an elevator.

Room was good. Had to plunge my shower so the water would drain. The place made me take out my own trash and strip the bed sheets and towels. I paid pretty penny and they can’t do their own laundry. Other hotels don’t expect that.

Delightful Inn Walkable to Beach
Love this boutique hotel in Surf City! Close to local restaurants and coffee shops. Easy walk to the beach with beach chairs available for use. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Welcoming touches include the koozies that were were were perfect for your cold beverages on the beach!
