Enjoy a relaxing vacation in a bright cheerful open floor plan home with beautiful ocean views and easy beach accesses within 400 feet on both sides of the house. The house is located 2.5 miles south of the shops and restaurants of Surf City and four miles north of the shops and restaurants of Topsail Beach.There is more than enough room under the house to park four cars and also room for several cars to park on the grass beside the driveway. There is an enclosed shower under the house as well as an open wash down area. Also there a nice sitting area in front of the charcoal grill. Directly behind the grilling area is a storage room with a washer and dryer, beach chairs, and a beach umbrella, beach cart, and 6 bikes.The best feature of all is the wide covered porch with six tall wooden Adirondack chairs and a matching table. The covered porch will keep the hot sun and rain off you while you enjoy 3 ocean views. The back of the house features an uncovered deck with a picnic table shaded by trees. The well furnished living area features a 55 inch Samsung Led TV with cable, Netflix, and a Blue-ray DVD Player. The well stocked kitchen has plenty of counter space and four counter stools. All four bedrooms have Queen sized beds. Three of these have a three inch mattress topper and one is firm.There are two bathrooms, one with a shower tub and the other with shower only.

Annual Visit
We stay at this property the week after Xmas to catch up with teens/adult kids. The 4 bedrooms are perfect and the area is very close to beach access. There is a great area for family games. The TV is big enough for football fans to be happy :) Linens are provided. Beds are very comfortable. Pets are welcome and taking the dogs on the beach is one of my very favorite aspectsThanks to Tom for SAVING us when we locked ourselves out!!!

Another Relaxing and Fun Trip to Surf City
This was another wonderful stay at Surf City. This vacation home has always been clean, well maintained and cozy. The owner makes sure to take the extra steps to make your vacation most comfortable and stress free. The location is perfect, and the times are always great that we spend here.

Cozy Getaway

Perfect beach week
We had a wonderful week at the beach with beautiful weather. This house has everything you need! It is in the perfect location and not far from the grocery store or dining out options. We spent a lot of time on the deck (with our morning coffee or afternoon snack) while enjoying the peaceful view of the ocean! Another great year making memories with my family!

Another great stay!
Have stayed here numerous times in the past few years. The house is well taken care of and very well equipped. One of our favorite places is the covered front porch with great Adirondack chairs. We eat most of our meals out there!! The host is great to work with. We are already booked for next year!

This property was everything we needed as a family. The entire interior is wonderfully appointed and very comfortable.. including beds! Basic amenities were more than enough..no need to run to the store as soon as you arrive. Front porch looking out to the ocean was great. Also fenced area for dogs was a huge plus. Family Beach Trip
Had a nice stay at Tom's Egrets Walk cottage. We loved the layout of the cottage with two bedrooms and one bathroom on each side, which made the cottage seem more spacious. Hanging out on the deck with the ocean view happened every morning and evening, which was great. Really nice beach chairs an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Owner was easy to deal with and worked with me on a couple of requests. Very close to beach. It was closer than I read in the disciption. Nice shower and hose to clean off sand. The bikes and beach chairs are really nice. We brought our own but I wish we didn't.

Cute bungalow close to beach
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cute bungalow is located close to the beach. The only downfall was the and in the kitchen. It's adorably decorated. We enjoyed a sunset cruise, boat trip to lea island, shelling and good eating.

Brief but nice.
We were only able to stay one night as I had a medical emergency. Tom and Vicky couldn’t have been nicer in any communication that we had with them. You could tell that they went out of their way to make sure that their home was equipped for an enjoyable time at the beach.
