Check in was quick, the woman at the front desk was very helpful with activities in the area. Room was clean and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool and I really enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was good as well, not the best I’ve seen, but they had waffles and that’s all that mattered to my kids. Overall we had a great stay!!! Would definitely stay again if coming back to the area.

Breakfast was supposed to run until 9am, we arrived around 8:30am and just about everything was GONE. Hot eggs and breakfast meats were gone, milk for cereal was gone, no fruit, very little plain white bread (no bagels left), and the only thing left in the fridge was Trix yogurt cups - but there weren’t even any spoons left to eat the yogurt. I was highly disappointed by this. I understand breakfast ends at 9, but that means breakfast continues until 9… not everything runs out 30 minutes early and nothing is refilled. Other than that, the stay was average. Decently clean rooms. Our bathroom smelled musty. Nothing extraordinary. I would stay again for the price, but I would look for availability elsewhere first.

Our first room (room 225) smelled so bad of mold mildew and past cigarette use. My wife and I toughed it out for the first night because we got in at like 7:00pm. Breathing was hard and we both woke up with our nose congested due to the mold inhalation all night. We complained the next day and the manager on duty moved us to the room across the hall. Much better! But not perfect. There's definitely wear on the building and updating needed but I'm assuming since larger hotel chains have moved into the area White Pines is hurting. We rated it 2 stars because no comp was offered or given for the horrendous mold smell of the first room. We did appreciate getting moved though (as they should have). Pool had a film on the top so we didn't use it and emergency lights weren't working (I work for a fire protection company and I tested a couple as we walked by them, they probably just need new batteries).

The room that was reserved was not what we got. The hotel was full so we ended up with a folding cot. The man that checked us in was VERY nice and helpful but the only happy/helpful employee we encounter. I picked the hotel for the breakfast offered to of which was out of waffle mix, sausage or whatever was in the other dish. Hardly any eggs, only sliced bread left and out of coffee beans. The girl doing breakfast said she could make more eggs but thats it. When I asked about waffle mix it appeared to be a bother so we had to go out to dinner.

everything was lack luster and messy, the pictures of the hotel were clearly outdated the hotel is not well kept. the breakfast is laughable. the staff is not helpful. the staff was never on the same page. everything just appeared messy. checking in was astoundingly hard for no reason. for being a hotel that was up and running for several years, it’s impressive how thrown together everything appeared. i would not stay again and would never recommend anyone to stay there.

Room had bugs in the bathroom, shower sprayed water all over the floor. The weather striping on our back door was coming off so there was an open space between the door and floor. The carpet felt dirty/sticky. There was a blood spot on our bed sheet. No comforter on bed just a sheet and thin blanket. Continental breakfast was out of food by 815am iron wouldn't heat up and we were staying there for a wedding and came from out of state.

The daytime staff were friendly and polite but the rooms were dirty, dark and dated. Our first day there housekeeping entered the room and refreshed the towels but didn’t removed any used towels, vacuum or make the beds. Most of the appliances in the room didn’t work, including the refrigerator. Definitely better options in the area for the price.

The Inn is older and that shows. Overall, it was pretty clean. The fabric on the couch and chair in the room were very dirty. The room was very decently sized and the kitchenette with fridge, sink, microwave, and cupboard space were a very nice feature for a family of four. Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. There are so many dining options and shopping within walking distance.

This is a very nice place to stay. The water temp of the pool was perfect. The rooms were clean and the staff were welcoming. The only complaint was that the waffle maker was broken when we had breakfast. Otherwise, everything else was good.

Minor things brought the rating down: the juice machine was out of order but there was no attempt to provide an alternative. Fruit, yogurt and muffins were "out". We determined the juice machine was still out of order the second day so ate breakfast elsewhere. A directory for the TV would have been very helpful, as would information about the area. It was an average stay for a high price.

They were short staffed and the front desk person has to work the front desk AND the breakfast room. The breakfast was AWFUL! There was mold in the shower. We had to get our own towels b/c they didn't have any one to bring them to our room. Our sheets were DIRTY so we had to pick them up at the front desk because they didn't have anyone to bring clean sheets to us.

The check in and check out was very easy. Couple months ago tried 4 times calling to extend my stay for a day and they hung up on me and said their computer was down. The room was fine. Slightly outdated and dirty. Drip marks on bathroom walls and garbage in empty tissue box. Breakfast was a plus but it was limited selection.
