Fantastic location for the docks & for town centre
The Henry Jones Art Hotel has a fantastic location right by Elizabeth Street Pier, and is surrounded by a plethora of seafood restaurants - it’s conveniently located for walking around the docks and/or Hobart city centre. The room was great, and the reception staff were excellent - I needed a couple of documents to be printed and (later) scanned to PDF, and the staff were very helpful. Metered street parking is available, but at A$35 per night we took advantage of the hotel’s valet parking service.

Bit of history in a thoroughly modern hotel
Quirky but fun hotel . Modern inside the 19th century industrial frame -- exposed ceiling joists in the very large hotel room, modern bath, excellent bed. The free tour of the artwork throughout the hotel is absolutely worth it

Great hotel with lots of style and a great location. My only reason for the 4-star instead of 5-star review is the acoustics. Our room overlooked the atrium, and was also next to the lifts. It just made the room a bit noisy at times. A different room would probably make all the difference.
