My only issue was a faulty chair that i reported on day 1 of 4 it was not fixed or replaced other than that everything else was although old was acceptable. Would probably stay there again Regards Graham

Mayfair on Cavell’s first impressions were a little bit underwhelming, with old world charm being straight out of the 70’s - however, it was warm, comfy, cosy and safe. The bathtub was lovely, the room spacious, the staff even put the heaters on for us as we had organised a later check in. Great value for money, centrally located - Cavell grew on us & we can’t wait to book again.

Owner and staff are friendly. Has parking and you need a car due to distance uphill from centre. While the room was spacious, the property is very dated (probably needed a refurb 15 years ago!). It's ok at the right price.
