We had a great stay at Huong Sen Hotel. The room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. The building is beautiful and one of the oldest hotels in Saigon from French Colonial times. Breakfast on the roof was amazing and the chef making omelettes for me each day was so friendly and hospitable. It was great for me and my 10yo son. Will definitely stay again.

Great hotel in the perfect location in District 1 Rooms are clean great breakfast loved the roof top pool.the staff made it by being attentive helpful and friendly. Its walkable to most major sights. You can pay a lot more for hotels in this area but if you want comfort at a great price then look no further

This is a three star hotel which has been around for a long time Its comfortable, has super large rooms , a great breakfast, roof top pool and gym . It has everything you need at a great price and its in a great location for walking to key sights and restaurants. Its next to the Rehahn gallery which everyone should visit The best part is the staff. They are friendly helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There are many many hotels in District 1 and many are 4 and 5 star but why pay lots more when Huong Sen offers you everything you need at a great price We would definitely stay again

Hotel is an old. There was mold in the bath tub. We stayed here the last couple of trips. Has always liked it, but this time it appeared old and need updating.

There were cockroaches in the lobby. I brought it to the attention of the night receptionist. He said that there were cockroaches everywhere in the world. He didn’t tried to kill it or did anything. Room 202 had water marks on the bathroom ceiling. Water leaked from 302 for 4 days down to my bathroom. They did not fixed the leak. I am suspecting that there are mold in the ceiling of 202.

The hotel was very accommodating to us. They had early checkin for us and a beautiful room overlooking the neighborhood. It was an easy walk to the market area, the opera house, the cathedral and post office.

Even though I got there a bit earlier than 2p check-in, I waited only a short time before they had my room ready for me. The room was good sized, with a nice view of the city. The bed is a bit rough compared to the other Asian hotels I was in prior, so my back hurt some from it. The pool was warm unfortunately since it was hot out, but all to myself and relaxing. Just a heads up. You do have to take the elevator to the sixth floor, then two flights of stairs to get to the pool. The location is great for about everything you need to see! The water is close, food is close & the bus stations are nearby as well (very easy to use). The hotel looks nice in the inside... maybe too much art work, but nice. I walked all over HCMC for miles with no issues, so I feel it's a safe area. Overall it's a pretty good choice if you're needing a hotel in that area. I would suggest that you check it out if you're in need!
