The staff was friendly and helpful. The area was unsafe. A domestic violence event occurred during my stay and 3 cop cars showed up. A random SUV was repoed as well.

The pool was broken and green. The pool was one reason I chose the hotel. The tub was chipped and had black burn marks on it and the bathroom faucet was halfway unattached. The floors we broken down, and the fridge had rust on it.

Don't Stay Here!

There were homeless people out front. The building had a weird smell when you walked in. The room had a different weird smell. The toilet had not been cleaned in a while. There was black in it. Something in the room aggravated my husband and my breathing. We had to check out after one night and go somewhere else. We had to call down to the front desk because we couldn't figure out where the switch was for one of the lights. We had to call twice before getting an answer. The front desk person had to come up to help us and had been smoking weed. The people were nice AND very unprofessional.

If you just need a place to lay your head, its good for that. But dont expect much better. Though the room smelled clean, the hallway strongly smelled of urine. As far as the actual cleanliness of the room, it wasnt bad, but could definitely use improvement. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was actually pretty good. The staff was friendly. Overall, 3/5 stars.

The main thing that made our stay here great was the staff! The people here are SO friendly and kind. The other best perk of this hotel is the free breakfast. This hotel breakfast might be one of the best I've ever had! It was fresh and kept stocked all morning long by the beautiful smiling faces of the employees there. We did not swim in the pool but it looked very nice and clean! Our room was very spacious and overall clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. Savannah, Georgia is about a 50 minute drive from it so it is a good budget-friendly hotel to stay in!

The Bates Motel

Very unpleasant, from the moment I pulled in to the parking lot there were people outside smoking right by the entrance. The door was so hard to pull on to open. Once I stepped into the lobby it looked like the Bates motel. Smelled like mold and wet mop. I walked back out searching for another hotel near by risking what I already paid. Unfortunately everything was booked and I had to come back. I checked in which took forever bc the employee was on her phone. When we walked into our room it smelled of cigarette and mold. The bathroom was the worse, you would turn on the light it sounded like a plan was taking off. The toilet was broken and the smell of the water reeked. When we needed the pull out couch the cusions were so dirty the bed hurt bc the springs were poking us. No extra linens or blanket. Thank goodness I packed my own. I didn't even change my clothes we slept hoping for sunrise and we left by 8a.m. I will definitely not return or recommend

My stay was fine but the hotel is in need of a lot of repair. My second stay and still no pool had to be moved to another room because of no hot water and the suite we were moved to could have been cleaned better and the air conditioner leaked in the floor and the sink took forever to drain. This hotel could use a lot of repairs and new furniture in the rooms. The pictures look great on line but once you get there it’s very deceiving. The rooms have a musty smell to them. I had to go to Walmart to get some plug ins to help with the Oder.

There was a moldy smell as soon as you walk out of the elevator. The smell in the room was stronger. There was a bright security light shinning through the window.
