Useless loft but otherwise great
We rented this property because the listing stated the third floor loft had a pull out twin-size bed/chair that we planned to use for our teen. When we arrived, the loft had a new Murphy bed… that was locked. In between when I reserved the house and when we arrived, they had changed the listing to a living room sofa bed and removed the loft bed option. This doesn’t work for our family and I would’ve rented a different house had I been notified of the change. The loft ended up being unused space, though if you brought an air mattress it’d be fine. We were not notified and it negatively affected our whole experience. The house itself is very clean and comfy, great kitchen and good bathrooms. Super close to the pool and an easy bike to the beach. We have always stayed in Shipyard and in recent years, The Greens neighborhood. Great location, poor communication.

Lovely villa with extra loft space
House was very nice, even had beach chairs and bikes to use. House was not cleaned well though. Dead worm inside when we arrived at the front door. Dead bugs stuck in the carpeted stairs, large dead “palmetto bug” in Main bedroom closet. Bathrooms were not well cleaned, found a used lip balm tube stuck behind vessel sink. Shower had mildew and exhaust fan has mold on the ceiling by it. Toilets had mold all under the bowl rims. Floors throughout were not well cleaned or vacuumed. Food stuck under sofas and chairs. We arrived right after Tropical Storm Elsa and roof had leaked so Main Bedroom has multiple water stains. Even though we had cleanliness issues the home was very comfortable and we enjoyed our time (3 weeks) there. The parking area was a pain and the speed bumps were annoying due to their height and how many there were in The Greens. Shipyard has great leisure paths to bike in the evening and we enjoyed all the birds deer gators and coyotes living among us. Great location near to beach and tennis.

The property was as clean as any I've ever rented! Very impressive. We did rent bikes to ride to the beach and around town--this was key. The kitchen was clean but not well stocked with gadgets. If you know you want something, don't take a chance. Just pack from home. This wasn't a problem at all, but we cooked every meal due to corona. Not much storage so pack tupperware or ziploc bags like we did!

Overall, it was great stay. The condo is very nice (there is three levels), the master bedroom/bath was very nice and the two smaller twin were -sized beds comfortable as well. Only thing I would recommend is for the property manager to instruct people staying there to go to the location to pick up their envelope with parking passes first, as there is a pass you need to pass security gate to get to property. Otherwise was perfect stay, great place will stay again in future.

Super clean and well stocked!!
Two of our three children have severe allergies and cannot eat in many restaurants, so we have started only using VRBO’s. We have stayed in several, but this one was by far the cleanest and best stocked one we’ve ever stayed in. They had Tupperware!! And when you cook most meals in the unit, there’s almost always going to be leftovers. Clearly I t’s the little things that impress me. The check in process was super easy, the owner had bikes and beach chairs and toys for us to use, the pool was directly across from the unit, it was bright and airy....I could go on and on. Five stars for sure. The one thing that got to me that is a super easy fix was no dishwashing detergent was available. We cook so much and had to go out and buy some. But that isn’t even a huge deal. Highly recommend!!

Great place!
A great place in a good location. We have been to HHI quite a bit but this is one of the better places we've stayed. We enjoyed our time there and plan on staying at this property again when visiting HHI.
