This lovely, fully-furnished 2-story villa is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The Hickory Cove swimming pool is just a 2-minute walk from the villa. Situated on the 18th tee on the Robert Trent Jones golf course, you will have a beautiful view off the back deck. You are just a short distance to the clubhouse and tennis center.

There are balconies with 3 of the bedrooms, and a large deck off the living room with a gas grill, patio table and chairs, and a great view of the 18th fairway. Wi-fi is included and there are several TVs.

The living room area offers ample seating with a large sofa and love seat and a great view of the golf course. The living room is equipped with a TV, and it also includes a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower.

The dining area is adjacent to the living room and has an excellent view of the TV or golfers teeing off. The kitchen is adjacent to the dining area and has all of the expected amenities. The laundry room is also located next to the dining area.

Our villa has a few bicycles, beach chairs, beach and pool accessories and games.

The Master Bedroom is located on the 1st floor and has a King-sized bed and a private bath. This room has a large sliding glass door leading to the outside deck and offers a wonderful view of the golf course.

There are two and one half bedrooms upstairs. Each of the two "proper" upstairs bedrooms has a pair of queen-sized beds, a private bathroom, a private balcony deck, and ample closet space. The third remaining "half" bedroom is a smaller room with a bunk bed, featuring a full-sized bottom mattress and a twin-sized top mattress. This room is suited primarily for children. There is enough room for 12 people to sleep in beds (no sleeper sofas).

Summer vacation
We have stayed at Palmetto Dunes before and love this development. We had a wonderful week and the owner provided everything and more that we required for the stay. We would certainly rent this property again when we return. Very close proximity to the beach, golf and tennis. Even the next door neighbor to our condo was a very nice and helpful man. .

Excellent Vacation
This was our first visit to Hilton Head and this property helped to make it one of our best beach vacations. As other have indicated, the property is a little outdated but all of our needs were met. We really like how close we were to the beach and pool and enjoyed watching the golfers tee off on the 18th hole. Would definitely stay here again

Everything as advertised. Robert is a great host, checking in to make sure we had no problems. I mentioned a slow drain in one of the bathrooms and he had a plumber there the next day. Easy walk to the beach and fantastic supply of beach equipment, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, toys etc.

Vaca at Palmetto Dunes
We enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Dunes so much. Being close to the beach and the pool was great. Hilton Head is a lovely place with great restaurants, shops, and plenty of activities to enjoy in a beautiful setting.

Great spot for a big group!
The property had just enough space for our group of 11 to call home for a week. The kitchen could get cramped quickly but was more than adequate! A couple bits of the property could benefit from small maintenance and/or update, but overall no complaints and an easy recommendation for a large group!

Great property, great location!
We loved, loved, loved this place! We were minutes from the beach and lots of nice shops and restaurants. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms it was perfect for our girls weekend. Would also be ideal for families. We’ll be back!!

Overall this please means some attention. From replacing many burned out lightbulbs and a dryer that doesn’t work, to an upstairs bathtub that drips and leaks and is almost broken off, and other things in between, we found out with some TLC, this could be a more appealing place. Additionally, the Cleaning service could do a more thorough job of making sure the dishes in the cabinets are put away, clean and checking all drawers for any cupcake wrappers that we found in the bedroom. Great proximity to the beach.

With everyone checking in at same time our property was not ready until 5:00 pm. The only other complaint was the rudeness of other guests who allowed their huge dog in the pool with about 12 other guests. Our property was as advertised and the location was great! Enjoyed our week.

Older house with great location
We had some issues checking in as the cleaners took until about 1 hour after check in time. They had an unadvertised pull out couch, but it wasn’t advertised as it was in terrible condition. Under the couches looks like it hasn’t been touched for a while. With a little tender care, this would be a great rental. There are a lot of unadvertised extras, but you have to look around. The location is great and the beach and general store are all within walking distance. Love the addition of the bikes.

Great location
The location was great. The walk to the beach was as described. The condo is a little dated. However the unit was clean, and met our needs. The owner added his personal touch and included thoughtful little amenities such as ziplock bags. I will definitely stay here again.

Great property and management
We were staying for a wedding and the condo was a great location. Close to the beach, general store and all the areas you need. What really put it over the top for us was our oldest daughter had to evacuate from Tampa due to Hurricane Ian. She had a pet that she couldn’t leave. Robert made an exception for her to stay with us, which meant we had our daughter safe with us while the storm tore through Florida. That was something that he didn’t have to do but the fact that he did shows what kind of guy he is, it was a big stress relief for us and most helpful!!

Great visit to Hilton Head Island
The location and property were as described in the listing as well as in reviews. The property is outdated but we were there for the “luxury accommodations”. The location was great and we were able to make lots of memories. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the pool. Robert was perfect checking in with us and responsive to my communication, before, during, and after our stay.

Fun but very outdated
We enjoyed our vacation, but the condo was very outdated and had many issues. When we arrived the downstairs air conditioning was out so we spent the first evening and the next day with the condo being 78° inside. The owner did send an repairman one the next day. One of the bathrooms upstairs was severely clogged and the owner had to call a plumber to fix that as well. We found two leaks from the upstairs to the downstairs. There were several areas throughout the condo that looked as if that hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach and to locations on the island. Obviously the low price of the location should have been a red flag to me about the quality of the condo. I will say that the owner was very nice and helpful whenever we let him know about the issues.

Great location, could use some work, comfy enough
The location was fantastic. The beds were comfortable after long days of adventuring, the couches and area rug in the living room were welcomed as well. The kitchen was well-stocked. Was initially impressed with the cleanliness of the floors (a problem we’ve had other places in the past). But many of the dishes needed washed before using - could have been a previous guest’s lack of attention. Wifi router was unplugged which is an easy fix but we didn’t know to check it until day 2. The dining furniture was not ideal but fit our family. Overall, a better overall cleaning, a new coat of paint and a couple new items/appliances would have gained this a slightly better rating. The size and option of the bunk room was a very nice amenity. Being in Palmetto Dunes is hard to beat, and the walk to the beach and pool is very easy with 3 younger children. The closet outside was well-stocked with toys and beach chairs also. Another reasonable Palmetto Dunes option!

Facilities were very good. Some updating could be done but it definitely met our needs.
