Nice stay
Nice place. The only negative I have is that there were places of heavy dust. One spot of note is under the tv stand. Extremely dusty.

Island Fans From Texas Enjoy Lowcountry Vacation
Our family enjoyed the ground floor unit 190 in the Beach Walk section of the Shipyard community located in the south central section of HHI. The accomodations & surroundings exceeded our experience 17 years ago when we stayed at the Weston Resort a few miles north. Common area rooms - kitchen, dining area and living room - were spacious and provided us plenty of room to mix professional & personal activities. The only challenging issue was the use of the Spectrum TV remote for the LR as it did not always operate as the info sheet provided stated. A third world issue at most, and the good thing is that the range of channels was nice, bolstered by some additional forms of video on demand viewing. We recommend canned or one larger light in the center of the living room atop the existing lamps. Kitchen supplies including Keurig were numerous & enabled us to make meals & frozen drinks when we didn't eat out or do take out. The patio was well equipped, but not used, due to high humidity during our stay and lack of breeze away from the beach. My wife and I used the master BR, and children & guests used the bunk beds in the secondary BR. We didn't use the pull out couch for sleeping. This unit is located nearest the efficient entrance to the beach. It's a 6 minute walk & 2 minute car ride. Use the GREEN stamped pass to park near the beach or security gets upset. Parking is limited. Golfing nice. Gators easy to spot. Friendly guards. Noisy upstairs. Landscaping nice.

Perfect location
Property manager was great to work with and had great communication. The location of this property was perfect for a family. Quick walk or bike ride to the beach. Bunk beds were great for young kids. Overall we had a great stay.

First visit to Hilton Head
We enjoyed this condo and would rent it again. It was clean and comfortable with cute coastal decor in a fantastic setting! The check-in was a little bumpy as the instructions to go to the rental agency for parking passes was missed at the bottom of an email, we had a little confusion between address and unit number, and then upon arrival we couldn't get the entry code to work (any of these factors may have involved user error) But the property manager arrived quickly to help and we had no further issues. The air conditioner worked great! (Everything else in the condo was in good working order as well and sufficiently stocked...except a little short on toilet paper...the gas grill may have been a shared situation as I didn't see one on the deck, but we didn't go looking hard for it either). I think the walk to the beach was in the 5-10 minute range, although we usually were able to find parking (due to hurt foot). This condo sits on the side of Shipyard closest to beach access, with walking and bike paths throughout the community. It was an even quicker walk to the pool which was in great shape and a welcomed break from the beach. (There were lots of jellies while we were there in August, but still a great beach with nice facilities). The only extras we could have wished for would have been complimentary bike rentals or beach items (or a magic wand to remove the sand we kept bringing with us), but certainly everything was provided that was needed. We loved the number of bedrooms, beds and baths for this price point! This was a ground floor unit with a few steps up to it and we had no trouble with noise from the unit above us. It was a great stay, thank you!

Great Location Unit by the Beach!
This was our first time staying in Shipyard @ Beachwalk #190. We felt right at home here! It’s location allowed us to pack up our “Mac Wagon” and walk to the beach with zero effort!( No sand in and out of the car) Also no stairs to get down to the sand and restrooms were clean and close to the beach entrance.The Sonesta Resort is right there with hammocks, & turtles in the pond:)The only surprise was no assigned parking spaces for the unit but there was always a space very close and it was never a problem…We look forward to coming back next year!
