Cheap motel , no breakfast. Room smelled a bit but bedding was surprisingly nice. So we're all the cats outside. Have gotten a little particular in my years of travel so wouldn't recommend this place unless you just need a place to sleep while driving the Blue Ridge parkway
The bed was very uncomfortable and the water in shower was cool/lukewarm. The television reception was not good.

We stayed 2 nights. The room was quite large and very clean. The price was very good. The hotel is older and the outside does need some repairs.

Country-Themed Motel for the Budget Minded
An older family-run motel with a country flair. Amenities may be lacking and no free breakfast, but they do have free wifi. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and where else will you find a child's wooden hobby horse in the corner. But the biggest plus is the price. One of lowest prices in the area. Easy access off I-77 at Exit 8 in Virginia. Fancy Gap and the Blue Ridge Parkway are nearby.
Small motel with the owner's own, um, personal touch of decorating. Nothing great, just a low rate hotel that serves its purpose: a place to rest while passing through.
The furnishings were well worn but clean. The proprietor appeared keen to interact with the customers as little as possi le. The lobby and room were full of what I would describe of as junk. This place needed de-cluttering. We needed a cheap bed for the night and this place fitted the bill perfectly. However I would not recommend for a lengthy stay.we enjoyed the location near the mountains.
Quiet and charming hotel close to Mt. Airy, nC, and I-77. A great drive north on US-52 if you're going north and don't want to bother with the interstate. Also close to blue ridge parkway.
This was an overnight stay en route. The people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, despite the late arrival. The location was convenient to the highway, which was what counted in this instance. The décor was a little strange with dolls everywhere, but overall this was someplace we'd stay again.
This was the smallest, most creepy motel I have ever stayed at. It was in pretty bad shape. The room we stayed in looked like it has been falling apart for a long time. The ceiling in the bathroom was bubbled and peeling. The carpet in the room was so dirty I wouldn't walk on it without shoes on. This place made me and my friend so creeped out that we didn't get a very good nights sleep at all. It felt like the backdrop to some Hills Have Eyes movie or something. I would not recommend this place to anyone, even for the low price!!

Good, cheap hotel.
I was looking for an inexpensive room that was clean and where I felt safe. This motel provided that along with very friendly proprietors. I spent very little time in my room. It is conviently located off of I77 and the Blue Mountain Parkway.

Come for the view and the friendly faces!
This is an experience, not a luxury spa. I would support these kind folks anytime.

Served its purpose
Served its purpose, a cheap place for the night on our way south. Minimal extras, as advertised.
Stayed one night; just passing thru. All we needed was a bed & a bathroom for the night & it sufficed. There were "homey" touches to our room which were nice but one of the 4 porcelain dolls in our room looked angry & creepy. The lobby/check in area has a crazy amount of porcelain dolls, some for sale. All in all, it was what we needed for the night and was a cheap, clean place.
We were unable to stay at this dump. When we entered the lobby it reeked of cigarette smoke. I have asthma and one of the things I cannot tolerate is cigarette smoke. The other is a dusty, musty room. I was ill after a short time in the lobby and room. Please refund my money. I tried to call expedia, but was never able to talk to anyone. I left a callback number, but didn't get a call. I won't book through expedia again. If my money is not refunded.
Your hotel was very nice and i loved the antiiques that were in the room. Even thoughthe hotel was hard to find my husband and i loved our stay and we would recommend it to all our friends and family.
The proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway was a strong factor in our choosing this accomodation. We were unsure what it was like until we arrived. It is in a beautiful setting, and quite quaint. The only thing difficult was finding dining. The night we stayed was a Holiday night (Memorial Day eve) and most places were closed. The room was clean and unique with all the dolls and older furniture. We were quite comfortable.

Noisy neighbors
OK room. King bed was on the hard side for me. We had noisy neighbors. Stayed 2 nights. First night the room next door was loud. Didn't seem like the walls were very soundproof. Second night we had the upstairs room up at 4am. The floor squeaks and you heard every footstep. They finally left and we went back to sleep.
