I normally have issues sleeping in hotels but their mattress was actually very comfortable. The location was close enough to all the things and food!

A little heavenly place in Helen
I booked The Alpine Motel for a quick holiday trip. I was beyond pleased with choice. First of all, the sevice was exceptional. The family that owns this establishment never made me feel as if we were a bother. They gladly obliged my requests. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The location is EXCELLENT. We had easy access to Helen and is very close to the shopping district. The motel was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. There is so much to do.We spent very little time in the room. The beds were my least favorite part. They were very firm for my liking, but you can't please everyone. If you want affordable, clean, and accomodating, this is your place!!

The entire place was shabby and in disrepair. I cut my foot in the bathtub because it had a crack in it. The shower curtain was ripped, the sheets, towels, rug, furniture all had stains. There was a musty smell in the room. In a three night stay the garbage was never removed, no clean towels etc. My sister’s room smelled of old smoke, had lights that didn’t work, the security lock on her door didn’t work and had similar stains throughout. When we went to the office they did not help or offer to fix anything. The breakfast was a few cereal choices, two tiny cups of yogurt, a few fruits and prepackaged microwaveable breakfast sandwich. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE!

This property is a nice place to stay but the walls are paper thin. The people on either side of us were just talking loudly and we could hear every word.
