A hidden gem!!
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay, we kept talking about what a hidden gem this place was. Very clean, friendly ownership, and beautiful views of the vines. We will definitely be staying here again next time we’re in town!

Fantastic find!
Husband and I came out to celebrate his birthday and attend a festival. We just loved this place. Very beautiful and quiet. Could walk to other wineries and was a short drive into town. We enjoyed eating breakfast outside (we purchased some fruit and bagels), and watching the sun come up. Spidey the cat would occasionally greet us which we welcomed too. We never saw or met the owners, they gave us our own space but they were responsive by email when we reached out with questions. We plan to come back again soon, we still talk about this place often.

Heaven in the vineyards
Staying at Pony Ranch vineyards was everything you'd hope for - privacy in the beauty of the vineyards; a beautifully appointed room with a swimming pool just outside your door; easy accessibility to wine tasting, great food, and coastal redwoods; and lovely hosts who give you space but are incredibly responsive. Needless to say, if and when we head back to Sonoma, we'll be staying at Pony Ranch.

Pony Ranch was beautiful!
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Pony Ranch prior to our daughter's wedding. We were within walking distance of the house where my daughter and her wedding attendants (and their husbands) were staying. We did not want to be in a hotel where we might run into our guest from out of town because we had tight schedules everyday and were not available to do things with them during our short time in the wine country. Pony Ranch was incredibly quiet and restful. We didn't get to spend much time there but when we did we were SO grateful that it was peaceful - which is exactly what we needed. I was grateful to Laurie for bringing us an ironing board the moment we arrived (without me asking) and only because she remembered an email from me stating that I might need one. The owners were such a nice couple and we were so disappointed that our schedule was so tight that we didn't have down time to find out more about them and their lovely home. The summary is that it was totally the right decision to stay at Pony Ranch! It is a wonderful memory!

Pony Ranch - a luxurious, private "home away from home" experience in wine country
If you appreciate the beauty of vineyard views, profound quiet, and brilliant starry nights, as well as luxurious design details, Pony Ranch is for you. From the moment we arrived at Pony Ranch we felt instantly at home. Laurie and Robert greeted us warmly, and we were directed past the lemon tree to the short, winding path past the swimming pool, leading up to the private suite. Laurie familiarized us with the simple details to make our stay comfortable. Luxury linens, fine furnishings, fragrant bath products and a cozy fireplace created a lovely ambiance. A Keurig coffee maker and small refrigerator made it easy to create a light breakfast or afternoon snacks, and to chill white wine. The bathroom area is comprised of two small rooms; with high end stone tiles and finishes, it is compact and efficient. The toilet and small sink are in one room and the shower is in another. There is no counter space but the glass wall shelves were sufficient for storage. The swimming pool was covered in February but we can only imagine how beautiful the views are, with the pool and vineyards beyond, in the summer--as well as how good a dip would feel after a day of summer wine tasting. I'll post photos on my StyleMindChicLife.com travel blog. Pony Ranch is very near to Mazzocco winery, which pours wines made from Pony Ranch grapes. We enjoyed a wonderful private tasting with Mick. We truly appreciated the location of Pony Ranch. We felt completely off the beaten path, yet close to charming Healdsburg and Geyserville, and very near to multiple wineries. Laurie gave us detailed instructions in her email, so we had no problem finding Pony Ranch or opening the gate. She told us to text her or Robert if we needed anything. We did reach out a couple of times and heard back almost immediately. We appreciated the responsiveness and the extra coffee pods one morning. We highly recommend Pony Ranch for a luxurious, private home away from home experience. With our thanks, Heather & Scott StyleMindChic Life

Hmmm Not as advertised
While the house in the photos is amazing, that's the owners house, and what you rent is a small attached room. While that can be ok, know that there is no kitchen, just a room with a toilet and stall shower. So you should compare the price you'd pay for a hotel room, and not think of this as a home rental. The pool is nice, but only uncovered on hot days. Otherwise it cannot be used. The notification to "please do not steal our pens" says a bit about the owner.

Great Stay
We stayed two nights during our first trip to Sonoma, and had an absolutely amazing stay! We had the chance to meet Laurie, and she made us feel very welcome. The room was so comfortable, and they helped us schedule a VIP tasting at Mozzacco Winery, which was actually one of our favorite tastings. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location
Location was great - private and secluded, with a nice view. Close to Healdsburg - with easy access. Décor was very nice, clean and modern. The bed was amazingly comfy and cozy. I thought the airport might be noisy but it was NO issue. The only downside was the hot water - really takes a LONG time to heat up and I felt so wasteful letting the shower run!

Absolutely loved it!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while exploring wine country and had a fantastic time. Everything from the decor, location, to their yummy oranges Robert let us pick were perfect!! I am quite picky and look forward to staying there again (hopefully soon!).
