Great room but it was dirty. Grout is black, black mold in bathroom, shower curtain was moldy, dirty baseboards, filthy oven, microwave area never dusted. Very disappointed.

Pets on both sides of us barking in the middle of the night. Didn’t realize it was pet friendly and that is fine but do a better job of separation of pet rooms from non pet rooms

Spacious lovely super close private beach access. Its simple, inexpensive, modern not old, king size rooms are accommodated with a full kitchen. The pool is lovely as well! It’s a nice hidden better deal than a lot of the more expensive stays. The space and nature that surrounds it make it more peaceful than a crowded resort building. I will not forget it, in the event I’m in this area spending the night again.

This was a great stay! The room was bright and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was so convenient, even though we only stayed one night. Beach access was outstanding. This would be perfect for an extended stay. The only negatives : coffee maker didn’t work and the sink and shower soaps needed refilling. Overall, a great value and place to stay!

Was great but wish our AC worked better and that the room had curtains. The light outside still came through the window and it was very bright. Location is amazing. Easy proximity to beach. Dog friendly. Quiet and secluded. Overall was a great family trip.

We can't comment on staff or service, since nobody was their. The appearance of the outside needs to be updated and repairs needed... But was told the building will be torn down and many homes will be built... My opinion the motel should be saved and updated and would be more financial able for families to come down and enjoy the OBX. Many families are luck to get out for a week and with the $$$$ rent of homes this motel is affordable to many..... Thank you...
