About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Moose Run, a PRIVATE Pine Cabin in the Woods near Algonquin Park, Ontario.

Private wilderness cabins near crown land & Algonquin Park. Canoe rental, horseback tours, & 8 km of trails on site. Drive to your doorstep! Kayak, canoe, hike, swim, fish, bird watch, or atv nearby, with 3 beaches within 10 min! Fee includes tax, cleaning, & bbq propane. In cold months there's heat in Cozy & Deer Meadow cabins. Are we booked? Search for our Deer, Cozy, & Fox cabins, all 4 are similar. Hardwood firewood is available on-site, with stores 5 min away for supplies. PRIVACY PLUS!

Our cute 'off grid' cabin is accessible by vehicle, and each of the four cabins are nestled in the woods in its own private spot—perfect for a quiet stay with tons of elbow room.

Each cabin features a fire pit, BBQ, and Propane burner (propane supplied) a large pressure-treated deck, a private, very clean outdoor toilet, and an outdoor shower with a USB chargeable showerhead. Just fill the black, screw top 5-gallon bucket (provided) at the gate on your way in, and leave it in the sun to enjoy a warm shower, Petticoat Junction style! (wait, did I just date myself?) **It means the *outdoor* shower has patio stones and a privacy screen.

The cabin has been upgraded this year to include a 12x12 Coleman Dining tent, set up and ready for your use. Be mindful of the zippers! Bring along some cushy chairs and a little table and enjoy a comfortable spot out of the bugs.

Our Cabin sites are located at a crossroads between the three main northern Tourism towns in our area (Whitney, Barry's Bay, and Bancroft) and are close to Algonquin Park. Maynooth and Bancroft are handy for last-minute shopping (five minutes to Maynooth, 15 minutes to Bancroft).

That means you can enjoy the wilderness, nestled in a private forest clearing all to yourself - and still get to all the 'must see' spots without extensive driving. There are lots of things to do here, with sightseeing, wilderness trails, lakes, beaches, hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater, atving, and of course, relaxing in your own slice of nature!
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be close to Hastings Highlands Town Hall. The cabin offers a sofa bed.

Beautiful area. Amazing little cabins
Was amazing stay. Online says a donation for wood, but then in the cabin there’s a certain price to pay. Which isn’t a bad overall price. Also we were only allowed to have a fire from 7pm-7am. When we go camping we like having a fire earlier in the morning especially when it’s cold. And we have fires through out the day as well to cook. I know there’s a bbq to cook on but when camping we like camping on an open fire.
