Located adjacent to the 600+ acre Hart Creek Conservation area, this farmhouse is a haven for nature lovers and those seeking a slower pace of life. Guests have keyless access to the entire Farmhouse. There are an additional two rental cabins situated on 170 acre property, so Farmhouse guests may encounter cabin guests during hikes on the property. During the winter months when the leaves have dropped, one of the other cabins is visible from the back deck.
SWIMMING POND
We have a small swimming pond nearby with a little beach. As it is fed by both rain and a little spring, the water level depends on how much rain we've gotten. You can also swim in the nearby beautiful Hart Creek to cool down or rinse off. We provide towels.

The Farmhouse is about a mile from Hartsburg where guests can enjoy The Hitching Post, a cherished local bar, or The Burg, a restaurant and live music venue open Thursday through Saturday, and about 5 miles from Ashland, home of the Dandy Lion Internet cafe, restaurant and coffee shop, Moser’s Grocery, and several great restaurants.
Guests will need to use their own vehicles or bicycles to get to town and back.
No smoking, aboslutely no parties. Pets allowed with pet fee and agreement to pet policy.
NO UNAUTHORIZED PETS. All pets must be registered. Failure to register you pet will result in a $200 unauthorized pet fee.
UNAUTHORIZED LATE CHECKOUTS: Unauthorized late checkouts are not allowed and will be billed at $25/hr in hourly increments. Please be respectful of our housekeer's time and be sure to checkout on-time.
CANCELLATIONS
The cancellation policy applies to all bookings. An additional $150 cancellation fee will be charged to cover credit card processing and admin fees on all cancellations.
RENTER'S AGREEMENT
A signed renter's agreement is required for all reservations, as well as a picture of a government-issued photo ID and a picture of your credit card used to book showing only the last 4 digits and your name. This is to prevent credit card fraud and is meant to protect you as the renter and us as hosts.
DEPOSIT
We require a $300 deposit for each reservation, which will be processed 3 days before your arrival. As long as there is no unexpected damage to the home, deposits are automatically refunded in full in 7 days.
