New! Charming 1BR Hideaway in Hartland VT!

Welcome to your perfect getaway nestled in the picturesque rolling hills of Hartland, Vermont! This one-bedroom private-entry apartment serves as an ideal base for exploring the Upper Valley, including Woodstock VT (just five miles away), Quechee VT (only four miles away), and Dartmouth College in Hanover NH (16 miles away). Our location provides easy access to abundant outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, skiing, golfing, and fishing.

Inside, you'll find a large fully equipped kitchen with newer appliances. The open concept living room enjoys a pull-out sofa couch for extra sleeping, high nine foot ceilings, oversized windows, direct southern exposure, and air conditioning (when needed). There is a great sense of light and space, and Hunter Douglas top down/bottom-up shades add additional privacy. Relax in the evening with your favorite movie on the large screen Smart TV. The bedroom has a quality queen-size bed, ample closet and dresser space, and a blackout window shade for extending your “restful” vacation. There is even a small bonus room for extra luggage (or the baby), and we are happy to accommodate bike storage in the garage for rainy days. The setting has scenic views of an old barn foundation and a pretty rural landscape.

Come and make unforgettable memories in this charming Vermont haven. We welcome you!

Must Sees:
Welcome to the enchanting Upper Valley, where Vermont's picturesque landscapes blend seamlessly with the cultural richness of Hanover, New Hampshire. Explore the timeless allure of Woodstock, a charming Vermont town adorned with colonial architecture and countryside that invites leisurely strolls. Marvel at main street's well-preserved 18th and 19th-century buildings, with highlights like the impressive Victorian architecture of the Norman Williams Public Library and the iconic Woodstock Town Hall.

Just a short drive away, Quechee welcomes you with its impressive Quechee Gorge, often dubbed Vermont's Little Grand Canyon. Take in breathtaking views of the Ottauquechee River as it winds through the gorge or embark on a hike to immerse yourself in the natural beauty carved over thousands of years ago.

For a step back in time, visit Billings Farm and Museum, a living history museum in Woodstock that preserves Vermont's agricultural heritage. Interact with farm animals and explore interactive exhibits that offer a glimpse into the region's farming traditions.

Cross the Connecticut River into Hanover, New Hampshire, home to Dartmouth College. Explore the vibrant campus and visit the Hood Museum of Art, offering an impressive collection spanning centuries. Stroll along the charming streets of Hanover and indulge in its diverse culinary scene. Recross the Connecticut River into Norwich, Vermont only a few miles away from Hanover, and visit the Montshire Museum which is a playful educational hands-on children's museum.

Mount Ascutney casts a shadow over the Vermont landscape. Visit this small town mountain where you can have long hikes in the nicer weather, and ski and snow tube during the winter. It's a lively adventure.

This Upper Valley experience seamlessly weaves together the natural beauty of Vermont with the cultural vibrancy of Hanover, creating an unforgettable blend of outdoor adventures, historical exploration, and small-town charm. Whether you're soaking in the scenic wonders or delving into cultural delights, the Upper Valley promises a journey for every traveler.

House Rules:
Welcome to your home away from home! We're delighted to have you with us and want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Here are a few simple guidelines to help ensure a seamless experience for you and our neighbors:

- You'll find your private entrance on the left side of the building, with your apartment waiting for you at the top of the stairs. All living areas are on the second floor and require stairs. It's your own little oasis!

- Your adventure begins at 3:00 PM with check-in, and we bid farewell at 10:00 AM on your check-out day. If you're hoping to start your stay a bit earlier or linger a little longer, just give our office a ring. We'll do our best to accommodate your request, and please note there might be a small additional charge for this extra convenience.

- To keep our space cozy and clean for everyone, we kindly ask that you leave your shoes and any outdoor gear at the door before relaxing in your apartment.

- Although we love furry friends, we've decided to keep the apartment pet-free. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

- For the health and comfort of all our guests, our apartment is a smoke-free zone.

- This unit has a window mount air conditioner.

- Since part of the building is a Realtor's office (daytime business hours) and the owner's residence is a bit farther away (the Office is in between the house and apartment), we kindly ask that you save the late evening parties for elsewhere to keep our community tranquil and respectful.

There is a window air-conditioning unit located in the home for your comfort.

We're here to ensure you have a fabulous stay, so don't hesitate to reach out if there's anything you need. Thank you for choosing us, and after your visit, please share the wonderful memories you created here!

bad customer service
apartment itself was good for what we needed but unfortunately the check in process was horrendous. the address listed was incorrect and dropped us in the middle of two roads. when we called multiple times for customer service and field service representatives were very unhelpful with the situation. It would have been helpful to be able to speak with the actual owner of the property.
