Nestled in the rolling countryside of East Sussex in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Apedroc Stud Farm offers a secluded two-bedroom holiday let designed to provide a perfect escape. The Studio is set in the magnificent grounds of Apedroc, who’s first recorded owner was Queen Edith (wife of King Edward the Confessor and sister to King Harold). Much later it was owned by Sir Michael Balcon, who founded Ealing Film Studios, and gave Alfred Hitchcock his first job. His grandson, Daniel Day-Lewis, spent much of his childhood here. The Studio itself was created by renowned musician and sound manager, Alan Parsons and legend has it that parts of Pink Floyd’s iconic album, ’Dark Side of the Moon’, were recorded here. The Studio has been updated by the current owners, who breed racehorses here on 110 acres of breathtaking farmland and ancient woodland.
