We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Murray House…. sparkling clean, very comfortable. Excellent breakfast… lovely variety of serials and fruit! Mrs Armstrong was a caring, friendly lady who made us feel really at home. Will definitely recommend a stay at Murray House. David and Lin Treble.

This is a really nice affordable small hotel or guest house in a quiet residential street within easy walking distance of the town centre. While parking is on-street, spaces are easy to find and the hotel provides permits to use nearby parking free of charge. The owner is very friendly and the room was clean. The TV has internet connection, so I was able to watch YouTube videos when nothing else appealed. The en suite was small but had everything I needed, and the shower had decent strength.

Great place to stay with lovely hosts nothing was too much trouble. Room was very clean & beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious & plenty of options which kept us going for the day. Location is very good for train/bus station & town centre only 5/10 minute walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a recent work trip. Clean well presented room with all your basic requirements. Tea and coffee refills plentiful. Host was pleasant and helpful. Parking in the residential area can be problematic before 1600 hrs or after 1900 hrs. Overall a very pleasant stay in a lovely B & B close to Harrogate centre. Recommend
