Great motel stay
Good stay at a great motel. Clean, comfortable & quiet. Extra fair buffet breakfast was tasty and varied with eggs, meats, potatoes, pancakes, toast & breads along with fruit and cereals. People here are SUPERB!

Loved the Cleanliness and the Spaciousness of the Room; the Beds; the Floors of the Sink Area and the Bathroom; the Variety in the TV Channels; Loved the Clean Microwave and the Mini Fridge; the Professionalism, Help & Friendliness of Staff on Duty at the Time of Check In; the Easy Access to the Parking Lot from the Room. But the Room Still Looked Dark & Not So Bright Even with All the Lights Turned On; the Lighting in the Room Not So Bright; the Carpet Quite Dark with a Few Small Stains Observed; the Toilet Seat with Scratches and Chipping Off plus Outdated; the Balcony Could also Have a Small Table in Addition to the 2 Small Chairs. Though Stayed Only a Night for the Start, Would Definitely Stay in The Village Inn Again! It is a Great Place to Stay and Would Absolutely Recommend it.

The Village Inn is a real gem! Opened in 1936 as a Pure Oil Village "motor lodge", it has experienced many, many changes. The Village Inn has been operated by the same family since its inception. This place is updated and super clean. The staff is so friendly and efficient. We have stayed here twice and have also eaten the breakfast buffet both times. The food is homecooked and replenished often. They also have cereal, oatmeal and pastries. You won't go away hungry! Btw...make sure you try the baked oatmeal. It is delicious! The next time we are in the Harrisonburg, VA area, we will be sure to stay here.

Quiet gem near Harrsionburg
This place is a real gem. The rooms were spotless, the location convenient, and the breakfast buffet was amazing for the price. Great place to bring your dog too since the pet fee is only $15.00. We will definitely be coming back next year.

Lovely place to stay
Exceptionally clean. Nicely decorated with quality materials. Very well kept. My only nit-picky suggestion would be to have fiber-filled pillows and a couple of extra ones.

This was one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The restaurant breakfast buffet was delicious. Well worth the price— which wasn’t bad at all! Will stay there again when we come this way.

Staff gave directions to nearest hospital after significant other had stomach pains. Spent 5 hours in emergency room, then she was admitted. I came back, slept well. Check out went smoothly, plus new staff person gave me info for staying next, if needed. Left because patient was transferred by ambulance to hospital near Washington,D.C..
