Staff was friendly and very helpful. Wish the price-gauging for JMU Family weekend was not a thing. Room that is typically $178 per night for Friday and Saturday night was $499 a night for Friday and Saturday night.

The room was in poor condition with shoddy repairs. It is clear the hotel hasn't updated anything in 15 years. There were stains on the carpet and the walls were scuffed throughout. There wasn't a bar in the closet to hang clothes. The prices were marked up considerably ($400 a night) for a JMU event. For the price we paid, the room was unacceptable. Having said that, the receptionists at the front desk were pleasant and as helpful as possible considering the room's presentation. We cut our stay short due to the room's condition and the cost of the stay. We were refunded for the second night.
