The property was top notch and well cared for. We enjoyed staying at the property because it was quiet and very relaxing. Exactly what we needed to celebrate our 40th year wedding anniversary. I will recommend Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lords Castle All Inclusive Resort to all my friends and family. Keep it up!

I stayed at Wyndham Grand with my husband to celebrate my birthday and we enjoyed our stay but along with anything else, there are pros and cons. Pros: The staff are very attentive and friendly, the food is really good, the rooms and the balconies are a great size. Much bigger than an average hotel room. When anything additional is needed for the room, they come very quick when called. Cons: The drinks are just ok. The "preferred" liquors of choice are only served at 1 bar which is inside by the lobby and it's not open until 3pm. The entertainment is very minimal, the pools aren't that big, they have a swim up bar set up but its not open. Overall, this would be a great couples getaway for those who want to relax. If you prefer night life, this isn't the resort for you. While children are welcomed there, there aren't many activities/entertainment available for them. But they are doing some construction on site and stated they will be introducing more children's options.

Absolutely beautiful hotel.I stayed in a huge room with 2 queensized beds and an ocean view.Tge staff made the stay- they were friendly,helpful and just amazing.I loved my stay and definitely will return,cant wait for my next trip.

Pros: the property is big and nice. Cons: Staff do not know what they are doing, there aren't trained to understand how a 5 start hotel is suppose to run. the food was ok, there wasn't really a lot of variety to choose from, literally about 10 dishes in the buffet, The one fine dinning restaurant you would have to make reservations the minute you arrive because the restaurant only holds about 60 people. Apparently there are suppose to have more restaurants on the property but right now there is only the main dining room, the fine dining restaurant and a grill area near the pool. The grill area the staff takes way too long to serve you food, on the first day my family and I waited over a hour to get served fried chicken; apparently the hotel ran out, how does a all inclusive hotel run out of chicken? Unacceptable for the money that we paid. The beach is not safe to go to because of the rough waters but they provide you with a shuttle to go to another beach...too bad that there is only one shuttle bus to accommodate for over 300 guests in a resort. Again unacceptable. Entertainment: they didn't have any good entertainment at all, and they only look like they only accommodate for only 50 guests, I'm only saying this because I was there for a week and I only saw a average of 50 people who come for the late night entertainment and some of the entertainment was repeated (the jazz show) They have potential but they need to finish the hotel before allowing clients in.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I just want to start out by saying the only friendly staff members were Rhonan, Ishama and Ozuah. Beside them the staff was not friendly and didn’t look happy. They looked annoyed anytime you asked for help. The waitress would literally Look the other way if they see you want help. There’s only three restaurants on the whole resort. And the food at every restaurant is Terrible ! Everything was either dry or undercooked. We waited two hours at the grill for our food and my friend never received her main meal because they forgot to put the order in ! The drinks are terrible. They need to retrain their staff or something. The rooms were dirty ! We waited two hours for our room and it was still dirty when we got into the room. There’s no swim up bar like advertised. The bell boys never brought our bags. After waiting 20 minute we brought our own bags to the room. I would not recommend this place to any one. It’s also far from everything. They also never have anything ask for they’re always out of something. The room service is terrible they took almost two hours to bring us just cereal and a ginger ale. This place is too expensive to have terrible food and terrible service. This place claims to be luxury and it’s far it. It’s NOT worth the money.

My stay at this property has been a nightmare , I was lying on bloody sheets didn’t even know until I turn my cover . The air stopped working i almost had asthma attack due to humidity in the room , my shower keep flooding due to the drainer not working , I didn’t get my ocean view after I paid extra.
