Service was crappy for a family. We walked in stains around our sheets blankets, and we had to clear our own bathroom and sink for it to become both of us to stay like a 2 itonight refund

When we arrived, we were told that there were no more rooms available with the double queen beds and pull out bed. We were told multiple times that it wasn't the hotels fault because we booked through a third party. We booked the room a month ago. If the hotel was overbooked, they had plenty of time to reach out to us. Not sure why this wasn't noticed until we arrived?? We were tired from traveling all day and it was late (10 pm). They were going to split us in two rooms. I didn't want my family split in two tooms. So we told them to just give us 1 room with king bed and 1pull out. We had 2 kids sleeping on the floor, two shared the pull out. It was definitely uncomfortable. They were able to put us in a room with 3 beds the next night, but the beds didn't look like queens. They looked more like full sized beds. They did reimburse us the difference between the two rooms for 1 night, but i felt like more should have been done for the inconvience and discomfort of the first night. The staff was nice. Just a suggestion that when there is a mess up, stop saying it isn't your fault. Apologize and assure the customer you will try to accommodate them the best way you can. Makes the customer feel like they are being blammed for a mess up that isn't their fault at all. Also....again....i booked this 30 days ago. That gave the hotel plenty of time to contact us or someome else if the hotel was overbooked. No one ever reached out to us prior to arrival.

When we arrived we were put in a room that was facing the interstate and was very noisy, we went to the desk and told them when we booked the room ( 4 months ago)we requested a room NOT facing the interstate/road noise. We were told by the desk clerk that there was nothing he could do, he said they were booked up ! Then he said, which made no sense, he had people that came in after us and he had to take care of them, he told us we were moved to that room because he had to accomodate other people that made reservations after us ! THAT MADE NO SENSE ! WE MADE OUR REQUEST MONTHS AGO! We also tried two months ago to upgrade our room to a bigger room and were told we could not make any changes , since we booked with HOTELS.com.
