Harpers Ferry Cabin
The property was just as expected and fit our needs for a few days of relaxation in the Harpers Ferry area. Nicely appointed with comfy beds, a well-equipped kitchen, big yard and fire pit, and a quiet residential neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others in that area.

Family Vacation
The home is located in a mostly quiet neighborhood. There were times in the evening that we heard dirt bikes traveling the roads which were somewhat disturbing. Otherwise, the house was great! Lots of room, fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials and a large table for our meals and playing games. We enjoyed the location for visiting Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, Frederick and the many other civil war sites. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Perfectly Pleasant
This home was a lovely stay in a lovely location. The home is exactly as listed- well kept, clean, updated appliances, comfy beds, all amenities. It is reasonably close to great activities and historical areas. Shannondale Springs WMA is a 5 min drive for fishing and hiking along the Shenandoah. The Appalachian Trail is easily accessible in multiple locations. Harpers Ferry, Mount Vernon and DC, Antietam, Gettysburg, tubing/rafting, wineries/breweries. Walmart was close enough for any needs, and we highly recommend Brothers Pizza in that same shopping plaza. EXCELLENT pizza!! My only complaint does not have to do with the home or the owner. It was the weird communications among too many entities. One books through Vrbo, but then initial communications come from Evolve (and they don't know any specifics about the particular rental), and then Evolve says to contact The Clean Agenda (I don't know who they were- the cleaning service?). Eventually, I did get to speak directly with the owner and all was perfect after that.

Nice respite
The house is older but was clean and had everything we needed (except a colander for draining spaghetti noodles). The beds were comfortable. There’s a cute beach close by with a lake to swim or boat, $8 a day for adults and $5 a day for kids. Very enjoyable and easy booking and check in.

Tranquility
Wonderful place to stay. Quiet. Our first day I heard something on the front porch. It was a goat and a sheep. That was a nice welcome. My Boston Terrier loved the back yard but he thought the deer that visited daily was a dog. We have a mastiff. Every thing was clean and had every thing we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Description is not accurate
While this place was nice with the bedrooms and bathrooms and it was close to wineries, there was so much more wrong with it then was good. When we arrived, we noticed all of the windows were unlocked, the coffee maker was dirty, the kitchen floor was dirty, and the outside was really bad. We were never told that the gas fireplace did not work therefore we could not use it. We did not even sit outside, due to as many weeds as there were and there was poison ivy growing, and it was just so unattractive. There are no handles on the kitchen cabinets and our towels for the bathrooms were stained. The beds were clean and the bathrooms were clean. We were also asked to put the dishwasher through before we left and unbeknownst to us the morning of our departure there were no dishwasher tablets so we had to hand wash all of our dishes. The living room was nice, but would not stay here again.

Hapers Ferry Cabin Review
I stayed for a week and my parents joined me for a few days. The home was great! The property was as expected from the photos - spacious rooms, a nice front porch, big back deck and yard. Check in and check out were very easy. Its very quiet, which is exactly what I was looking for. This proprty is about 15 min from Harpers Ferry, Charlestown, and Martinsburg. Tons of vineyards in the area, river fun, lots of out doors stuff close by. I really enjoyed my rereat here!
