Great 5 star hotel in the Old Quarter Hanoi . A great Roaring Twenties motif with amazing era furnishings. Rooftop bar and pool and a great spa downstairs. Perfectly located near all the activities in the Old Quarter. Great dining room with excellent food. The very best thing is the staff at all levels. The concierge staff are fantastic. They will find you , provide you or fix anything and everything you need . I have to mention Camellia , while everyone was wonderful she is amazing , beyond 5 star service ! Thank you Grande Hotel du lac , you made Hanoi a must return.

A wonderful hotel with an amazing and attentive staff. made my family feel so special throughout our entire stay. the breakfast buffet was superb and location was super convenient. We were pleasantly surprised with this stay. It was a short hop to Hanoi and really glad we spent the 2 days at this location. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, for the competitive rate that they offer. The location was amazing, right next to the cathedral. Given we were only 2 days at Hanoi before moving on to Da Nang. The location was prime and allowed us to hit a lot of the spots we wanted to with ease. Breakfast on the 9th floor was also a very nice addition. Location was great and the food although limited but had some great a la carte menu with local favs. Definitely would recommend this place as it exceeded our expectations. Also we were fairly reserved on ordering a no window room. But surprisingly to my surprise we didn’t mind it at all. Room was roomy and spacious we were dealing with jet leg anyways so it was perfect to push you out to the sites.
