Nice apartment but significant issues
I loved that much of the vintage interior and exterior features of this building are preserved. Spotless and spacious. Lots of kitchenware, but the only foodstuffs are salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee pods. Basic spices, powder creamer and artificial sweetener are badly needed. AC and heat are advertised, but 2 approx. 8" x 8" cube (AC?) units serve the entire apt. There is no ability to control the heat; it was sweltering when I arrived - heat AND cube units were on. Windows inoperable - broken handles, no screens. Kitchen clock didn't work; batteries dead in TV remote and no extras. Why not 1-2 detergent pods for washing machine? None of the exterior LED lights functioned other than occasional brief flickers, making going up and down the 2 flights of wooden stairs to the apt. with luggage extremely dangerous, especially with some stairs warped and deteriorating. Railings were on only 1 side in places; I caught myself from falling backwards several times when the lights flickered - worse than if they had not come on at all. Owner unable to fix the light issue. I stumbled walking to the back bw the houses due to large concrete blocks invisible in the dark. The inoperable front keypad, and the large, dark, isolated back yard with no light or easily accessible door greatly increase the risk of assault. The neighborhood at day is OK, but night is rather risky. Should specify that zoo and theme park are more than 1 hour's drive. No garden; FP nonfunctional, so not "amenities".

Great Stay
We had a great time in Hamilton. The place was very clean and was within walking distance of many bars, restaurants and activities.
