A good middle of the road Hotel with good facilities. Favoured by coach companies as a base for their clients, currently a coach full of guests who are going to the Edinburgh Tattoo, a distance of almost 50 miles away. Breakfast service was a bit chaotic with only two servers in the Dining Room and all tables taken. If you are unfortunate to be in residence with a coach party be prepared for a wee bit of upset, otherwise a good middle of the road established hotel. Only 20 minutes by car from Glasgow.

ROOMS ARE VERY TIRED, BEDS ARE AWFUL, CARPET HAD A HOLE IN AND THEN WAS PATCHED UP, RIDCULOUS. NEEDS A OVERHAUL IN ALL AREAS!!! BREASKFAST IS NOT FUN WHEN COMPETING WITH COACHES OF PEOPLE. TRYING TO FIND A SEAT, HOT BREAKFAST WOULD BE NICE!! AND COFFEE WAS DISGUSTING. THE LIST CAN GO ON. THE ONE GOOD THING IS THE STAFF, THEY WERE LOVELY AND HELPFUL

Very enjoyable stay. We took the Dinner, Bed and Breakfast deal which was excellent value for money. All the staff were friendly and efficient. It was nice to stay somewhere that had a bit of character and wasn't just a drab box.
