Property was really great. The rooms were very spacious. The one problem was the beds. The mattress’s they use are extremely hard. I didn’t sleep the first night and the second night, the staff put 2 duvets on the mattress for me for some extra padding. It helped a bit but was still hard. If you like a former mattress then you’ll be fine.

I really liked Toyoko Inn Odawara. I am sorry I was unable to book other Toyota Inn stays in Japan. The room was comfortable, with a TV screen showing all necessary information. You could find toiletries and pyjamas in the ground floor lobby. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful (you sat at long tables along with other guests; it was a buffet style meal). My only issue was that I had been unable to sign up for membership from overseas.

We love Odawara and would come back for a stay!
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and quiet. The location is close to the train station and restaurants are nearby. The overall experience is excellent!

Reception staff could be more attentive to arriving guests. I was left standing there for a full five minutes until I had the realization check-in was done at the Japanese language kiosk off to the side as opposed to the reception desk.

GREAT LOCATION! So close to the train station and Odawara castle, and just an hour bus ride away from Hakone. We got the cheapest room and the mattress quality reflected it. The ryokan we stayed in had thicker mattresses. But you get what you pay for so I can’t complain too much.

A great hotel to stay at 5 min from Odawara station. Breakfas was excellent. They even allow you to takebit to your room. Provides toothbrush toothpaste and night gown. They even keep your luggage after checkout until evening.

Great hotel, reasonable price and friendly staff
The hotel is amazing especially the free breakfast offered. Very very nice breakfast and the food changed daily. The staff is very friendly. The hotel with 3 lifts which is very handy and also vending machines available with 100 yen drinks. (Amazing) Location is quite good and room is spacious.

I was disappointed. The room was cramped. The bed mattress was peculiar, though I slept fine. Breakfast was basic but decent. Like many things, you get what you pay for, and this choice was largely based on price.
