Hachinohe stay
Very good location. Hotel is the tallest building in and around the JR station area, so very easy to locate. Room and facilities are at par with other chain-wide standard. This is a budgeted hotel chain, but the experience is satisfactory.

breakfast was very good. overall nice hotel, however, The toilet was very compact and uncomfortable. the bed mattress was very hard, it felt like i was seeping on the floor.

This hotel chain is always value for money . Next to train station and very convenient when you travel on a JR pass. One minus point is the dining place is along high traffic walkway .

This inn is located right outside the JR station. We booked a double room but it is so small there was hardly space to open the luggage. There was only a small gap between the end of the bed and the wall pillar such that whoever sleeps on the inside would have to literally squeeze through the space sideways to get out of bed. We booked breakfast as part of the package but didn't eat because it was largely Japanese style and had limited options.
