너무나 가족적인 따뜻한 분위기에 감동 받고 갑니다. 처음엔 인테리어가 시골 친척집 놀러온 느낌이였는데 있으면 있을수록 모든게 편하게 갖추어져 있었습니다. 군산 시내에서 조금 거리가 있지만 변산반도 여행을 같이할 계획이라면 좋은 로케이션입니다. 특히 조식이 너무 좋았고 석식도 미리 주문하면 (비용발생) 가능하고 맛이 훌륭했습니다. 모든 커피랑 생수를 공짜로 먹을수 있고 모든 스태프 친절하며 기분 좋고 인심 좋은 호텔이였습니다. 미군 부대 일하고 있는 외국인 장기 투숙객과 골프장 이용하는 손님 여행 손님들이 투숙하는 재미난 조합의 손님들이 있고 장기투숙객이 하고싶은 곳입니다. 겉만 보고 판단하지 마세요. 좋은 곳입니다.

Very good customer service
Overall a very good stay. Room was cold when I arrived, And the remote for the heat didn’t work. The staff immediately Replaced the remote And the room quickly heated. Also, Kudos to the staff on an excellent breakfast.
The have a comfy lounge area with billiards, massage chair, and home-made Henga blocks!

We truly enjoyed out stay at the Western hotel. Location was great while visiting our son on Gunsan base. The hotel was Clean/Comfort but can use some updates. Hu/family was always helpful in suggesting great tourist sites/shopping. Breakfast was filling and hit the spot each morning! An amazing stay, thank you!!

This family owned property really makes you feel at home! Very friendly and courteous owners, comfortable rooms, and great common area/lounge downstairs. Dinner is included, prepared by the family, and is amazing!

Property a little dated but authentic Korean style. Very clean though. Staff extremely helpful and accommidating. Family style breakfast made daily and very good. Laundry also done for us before we left. Close to AFB. Would definitly recommend pleasant stay. Only drawback taxi to town Gunsan $15 each way.

Best hotel in the Kunsan area!
Awesome hotel. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. You can choose dinner or breakfast and it's included in the price of the room. Laundry services are available and they will drive you to base if you need a ride.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY FOR A SHORT OR EXTENDED TRIP
Can't ask for a better place to stay when in Kunsan. Off the beaten path, close to Kunsan AB and with many amenities that we used to have accessible to us in days past, meals provided by the hotel staff, which themselves are delicious and varied. Laundry is done as well daily. Picked up in the morning and available by dinner time that same day. The rooms are clean, spacious with more than enough storage for clothes and luggage. The lounge has both a pool table and a billiards table along with a variety of other entertainment selections. The best part is the staff. Hu, as the manager freely provides assistance and is very eager to ensure the stay is of the highest quality. The rest of the family and staff go out of there way to provide for an enjoyable stay, clean rooms, and awesome meals nightly and twice daily on weekends. Just cant ask for a better place if your traveling through Kunsan or coming for business and working on the base.

Breakfast, AND laundry AND dinner...I've never felt so taken care of. Massage chair and pool table downstairs. We really enjoyed our stay. Felt like home, among family. It's not the most convenient for downtown Gunsan, but for getting to the airport or base, it's perfect. Anyway I really enjoyed the morning jogs in the quiet streets. Highly recommended.

Spent a week here visiting our son at Kusan Airbase. Walking distance to base. Breakfast and dinner available every day. Laundry service every day. Room had refrigerator and microwave. Staff helped us to communicate with cab drivers and helped with bus schedules. English speaking person on staff. We felt at home right away! Would definitely recommend Western Hotel!

Definitely the place to stay in Gunsan!
I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but my stay at Western Hotel was so pleasant, that I had to share. Everyone in this family owned hotel is friendly and does everything so that the guests feel at home. The rooms are spacious and clean with plenty of amenities. Base lodging can't compare to professional attitude and welcoming atmosphere that Western Hotel offers. Keep up the great work!
