The body soap was empty, the wall socket in the bathroom didn’t work, the shower released a lot of water to the floor and the kitchen only had one coffee fixing. I really didn’t like where the TV was located it made you crane your neck to watch it.

Perfect for a family getaway
Hotel was clean and well stocked. The only complaint was that nobody cleaned the room the entire time we were there which is fine but we do need clean towels/washclothes daily so it was slightly annoying to have to go down every evening for towels but overall a fantastic stay

I Can't Believe This Hotel Bears the Marriott Name
I travel to Foley, AL area on business multiple times throughout the year and have stayed in dozens of hotels there. I was attracted to this TownePlace Suites by the price, and its access to Gulf Shores, where I was conducting business. So, let me just say you get what you pay for! I should have known. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and stay at Marriott hotels frequently. So, I can't believe Marriott lets this hotel bear its name! The bedding, linens, countertops, bathroom, etc., were very clean. However, the carpet and floors were filthy!!! I was so glad I packed sandals to wear. because I would NEVER let my feet touch the carpeting in the room - it was that bad! The furnishings are good, but the mattress was uncomfortable, worn out, and needs replacing. Additionally, there is no shower door in the shower enclosure - just a glass wall covering half of the shower. So, no matter how careful you are, you flood the bathroom floor with water to mop with the limited towels the hotel stingily hands out. I was there for three nights, and they don't service the rooms until you leave. On the positive side, the hotel staff was GREAT; they were friendly and accommodating. The lobby area was clean and attractive. The breakfast is GREAT. Parking availability is easy and abundant. So, the "public areas are fantastic, but the 'private" rooms - not so much. My work will continue taking me to the Foley area with frequency. However, this is the first and LAST time I will stay at this hotel.

Exceeded my expectations! I love luxury properties and this place is a oasis of high end hotel and comfort for the location. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating! I will definitely return.

I was charged extra night stay after already paying Expedia. Told it will drop off but of course it’ll take days while you hold my money on my card. No one knew why I had extra charge. Then asked for paper receipts told no you paid through Expedia but I got one the first night? Pillow are horrible bring your own, my mistake
