IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE ROOKERY:

*AGE: There is a strict minimum age requirement of 25 to book this property! A copy of your Photo I.D. will be required at the time of booking.

*COMPLEX AMENITIES: Two Saltwater Pools (the larger of the two is a zero entry for the little ones), Hot Tub for the adults, Tennis Court, Family Grilling Area

PARKING: The Rookery offers onsite parking for up 2 vehicles and parking passes are required. One pass is automatically added to the booking for a fee of $25 plus tax. If you need to purchase a 2nd pass ($25 + tax), you will need to contact our office at least 48 hours prior to arrival and arrange a payment method. Parking passes are placed in the unit on the kitchen counter prior to guest arrival. There is designated boat/ trailer parking available, however they are only allowed in the designated area and need to have contact info visible in case they need to be moved.

PETS: This is NOT a pet friendly property. Any evidence of a pet being on site may result in fines or possible eviction.

*MONTHLY RENTALS: This property is available for monthly rentals during non-peak seasons. Please call or email our office for monthly rates.

*CANCELLATION: In the event you have to cancel we will work with you as much as possible, however we do have a Cancellation Policy in place. Cancellation must be more than 30 days prior to arrival date and submitted in writing directly to our office email, , to receive a refund of all monies paid minus your processing fee. Please refer to your Rental Agreement to review the full policy.

THE ROOKERY UNIT 1501:
Enjoy sitting on the screened porch and listen to the wildlife that surrounds you in this development. The LIVING ROOM offers a Television, as well as a sleeper sofa and 2 recliners. The KITCHEN is well equipped with cookware, utensils and appliances – regular coffee brewer but also a Keurig machine. The DINING area is centrally located in the heart of this cottage with seating for 6 at the table and 2 bar stools featured at the adjacent island.

The PRIMARY bedroom offers King Bedding, SMART television and private bath with tub/shower combination. A single vanity is featured and is fully stocked with linens for your stay. BEDROOM 2 & BEDROOM 3 offer a Queen Bedding & SMART televisions. Bedroom 2 offers a VCR and Dish Box while Bedroom 3 is perfect for gaming systems or streaming from your personal devices. Both guest bedrooms share a full bath with tub/shower combination, single vanity, and is fully stocked with linens. You will also enjoy a full-size washer and dryer to stay caught up on the laundry!

The Rookery offers two saltwater pools (the larger of the two is a zero entry for the little ones), a hot tub for the adults, a tennis court and a great family grilling area. The Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge borders the community, a real bird watcher’s paradise. Easy access to the WHITE, sandy beach is across the street (.4 miles), no crowds, no high rises, watch for dolphins on their daily swims. Take the ferry over to Dauphin Island and visit Fort Gaines & the Sea Lab Estuary. Explore any of the three marked Bon Secour trails, all within ten minute drives. Ample parking, bring your boat, the marina is only 4 miles away.

Well our first night was hell, it was 88 degrees inside, AC went out for several hours, nobody can’t sleep and they came to fix it next day around 11am, we stayed pretty much like 10 hours without ac. Yesterday (tuesday) they came to do some electrical work and they did it in 4 hours but then when the workers left ine of the breakers was bad so we have to wait around one more hour without power so he can fix it, overall we were without power around 15 hours. Some of the blankets were dirty with blood stains, some hairs. Kids tv didn’t work and there was not a remote. One of the stove burners was out. I hope you can make it right, maybe be by getting a refund or something.

We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the location of the beach from the house. The parking lot was always full by 10 o’clock in the morning so it wasn’t available when we needed it they’re really needs to be more public beaches.

This was our second time to stay here and fifth time at the Rookery. We love the Fort Morgan area. This house is close to the beach and has a great pool a few steps out the door. The house is clean, comfortable and the property manager is great to work with.

Girls' Trip
We took a trip celebrating 3 of us turning 60 this year. We enjoyed the location and quietness of the neighborhood. The pool area was great! The outside porch area was pretty dirty and the entry door was filthy. We were pleasantly surprised with the inside of the condo. It was cute and clean. We never did locate a Keurig coffee machine, iron or ironing board that were all listed as being provided. There were no spices, condiments, Tupperware type dishes or regular dish soap. Compared with other vacation rentals in the past, this one wasn't stocked as well as others. We would stay again but would have liked to know before arriving, what was needed. The beach access is convenient if you drive. I don't think it would be very practical if you were walking and bringing beach chairs, etc with you.

Comfy cozy cottage
Our family of 5 adults and one infant had a great stay at the cottage. This is our second time staying at The Rookery II. We loved that the pool was right across the driveway. The beds were comfy and the 2 rocking recliners were a great plus(one reason we chose this cottage). The cottage was clean and we loved that the beach was just a short drive away and not crowded at all!! Would definitely rent again! Only suggestion would be to add an additional chair to the livingroom or one in a bedroom that can be moved to the livingroom easily. The cottage sleeps up to 8 but only has seating for 5. Definitely a 5 star rating from our family

The place was clean, stocked and spacious for a family of 6. Pool was just a stone throw away which was nice. I would have liked a better path to the beach. You can walk but you have to cross a busy road. Other than that, great rental.

This property was very clean and nicely decorated, fully equipped, very comfortable beds and a great location. It is in a quiet area with the beach a five minute walk away. The ferry is just down the road for a trip to Dauphin Island. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are a short drive for shopping and entertainement.

Very nice and comfortable. It could use more and better utensils and cookware. Tv antenna reception was annoying. Had no wifi all week. I notified the manager first thing and he told me that the previous renters didn’t tell him until they checked out. He said they had a technician scheduled and would let me know when he was coming. No one ever showed up and we never had internet. Really could have used it because cell service is minimal at best out there.
