The Cabin at Nickajack is the perfect spot for your get-away and get-together! This 4- bedroom home, was built for family gatherings, and is accustomed to hospitality. It's our mountain oasis with gorgeous, breathtaking views of the lake from every room in the house. The most recent addition is the private Pickleball Court. Located 1/2 mile from Interstate 24, it's rural yet only 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Built on the side of a mountain, the custom-built cabin features mountain views of Lake Nickajack and its two bridges. The wrap-around porch and outdoor seating will be one of your favorite areas. The cabin is perfectly arranged for privacy and gatherings. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. There are 3 queen beds, 1 kingsize bed, 1 daybed with a pop-up trundle (2 twin beds)in the loft, 1 daybed with a pop-up trundle (2 twin beds)in the lower living area, 3 sofas, a loveseat, a recliner, and rocking chairs, wireless internet, 6 TVs (4 smart and 2 equipped with DRVs), good cell phone reception, one fabulously equipped kitchen, and spacious parking. There's something for everyone, from Pickleball to peace and quiet to the hustle and bustle of the city. It's ideal for those who want to relax and curl up with a good book. You can watch the hummingbirds and bluebirds feeding over the garden and every evening, a gorgeous sunset awaits you. The lower level can be separated from the rest of the Cabin if more privacy is needed. This apartment includes the king size bed, trundle bed, full bath, separate living area and kitchen is located in the lower level.

Pickleball is available on site; contact owner to make a reservation. You must supply your own paddles and balls. Within twenty minutes, you can take advantage of the Chattanooga tourist attractions, such as Rock City, Ruby Falls, Tennessee Aquarium, the Chattanooga Zoo, or the Chattanooga Choo-Choo. The marina is 2 miles away for those who want to fish or boat. The twenty-mile trail system created by TVA and Sorba is only six miles away at Raccoon Mountain for trail runners or mountain bikers. Motorcyclists will love having miles of scenic roads to explore. History buffs will appreciate the Civil War history including the National Cemetery and Missionary Ridge, just 20 miles away. It's a great place for families to disperse and gather again for meals, games, and fireside chats.

Amazing Cabin and Views!
This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway home. The cabin had enough room for myself and my family, along with enough things to do whether video streaming, playing games, or reading books. Though we did not play on the pickleball court, it was nice to look at. The wall of windows overlooking the view outside was absolutely wonderful. Each bedroom had their own bathroom and they were all so clean. The location was great and super peaceful. It was quiet the whole time while we were in the cabin. The place felt really secure and safe, of which I am super appreciative of. The distance to Chattanooga was not bad either. I did not have any issues with the traffic to or from Chattanooga. My family all loved the decently stocked kitchen, view, and the indoor gas fireplace. I will say that the drive up to the cabin was easy, the wifi was great when we needed it, and there was plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. I cannot express enough how peaceful it was within and around this cabin. It made for a perfect weekend for sure. I highly recommend this cabin if you want the best getaway near Chattanooga, if you want a good view of the River, and if you truly want peace away from the city. This is definitely on the top of my list to come and stay at again!

Family Thanksgiving Trip
The cabin was very spacious with a breathtaking view. The kitchen was fully equipped, the appliances were up to date, and each room had everything we needed. Also, the cabin is conveniently located only a few miles from grocery stores and restaurants. Our family had a great Thanksgiving and will definitely book again!

Something for everyone!
4 couples for a long weekend. We had a great time playing Pickleball, making smores and watching football. It doesn’t get much better than that. View is great. Susan is a quick responder to messages and a pleasure to deal with. Look forward to a return trip.

Family vacation
This home was beautiful and fit our family perfect. It met all of our needs in the kitchen and baths. The kids loved all of the games and making smores on the firepit. Susan was very easy to contact. The view was amazing and close to everything that we wanted to see. Our parents stayed on the main level, which was great as they don't do stairs well. The steam bath was amazing. The kids stayed in the 2 upstairs bedroom with their own family's. My husband and I stay on the lower level which was great as it was so quiet and peaceful. We were able to park with a mobility scooter in the drive. Thanks for the use of the home. Hope to come back again!!

Spacious home with a great view
The cabin was clean & had plenty of room for our 3 couples. Kitchen was well stocks with dishes, cookware & seasonings. As a bonus, the owners dog (Bear) was a very friendly addition with visits each AM & evening. A comfortable place to spend time with friends. The view out the windows of Nickajack Lake is spectacular.

Home worked perfectly for our family. Our host, Susan was wonderful. Entire family had a wonderful relaxing weekend. It was fantastic for all of us to be under one roof. Perfect family vacation
Not only was the view gorgeous, the house itself was true to advertisement. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, and outdoor area perfect for young children. Met the owners and they couldn’t be more hospitable! Highly recommend! Family of 6 adults and 6 children under age of 5 were comfortable!

Amazing birthday celebration!
Our group of 6 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! We chose this particular house mainly because of the private pickleball court which did not disappoint. We enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine on the covered porch while admiring the spectacular views of Nickajack lake and the surrounding mountains. The house and kitchen were stocked with everything we needed during our stay. The owners, Dan and Julie were so welcoming and were were lucky enough to have them join us on the court! As an added bonus, we were visited by their adorable dog, Bear. He was an absolute joy! We have already begun discussions on our return trip!

A home away from home
This house has all the amenities and supplies that we have at home. We stayed here to celebrate Christmas with our 2 sons and their families. The grandkids range from 18 months to 10 years. There was plenty of space and privacy. The house was well laid out for 3 family groups. And we could put the little ones down for a nap where the noise of the others did not wake them. We had options for playing games and doing family puzzles without having to use the kitchen table which was a huge plus. The kitchen was the most well equipped of any place we have ever rented and that’s saying a lot since we do family get togethers frequently. There was plenty of paper supplies also. Would highly recommend staying here.

There were 11 of us and we had plenty of room in this beautiful cabin!!! Everything we needed and more was at our disposal! We were so comfortable there!! Wonderful stay!
My family and I rented Pastor and Susan’s home for the Thanksgiving holiday and we felt right at home. The home is a 10-15 minute drive to Walmart and restaurants (depending on traffic) for any shopping/food needs. In the home itself, the three bedrooms with their adjoining bathrooms had the most comfortable beds and pillows to ensure a good nights rest. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, the showers had good water pressure and the water temperature was perfect. My young sons enjoyed lounging in the loft which was also large enough for me to use as a work out area. The family room sofas and recliner, as well as the rocking chair in front of the warm fireplace, provided enough seating for my group of 10, where we laughed, sang and watched a few movies. The kitchen has everything you need to whip up a tasty meal and having a washer and dryer in the adjacent room is definitely a plus! The shining star of the property is the wrap-around porch facing Nickajack Lake and the mountainside. If it’s too chilly out crank up the outdoor fireplace, grab a blanket, have a seat, and bask in the beauty. Pastor and Susan are the sweetest and if we’re ever in the area again we’ll book the cabin!
