The Hotel is nicely located within easy walking distance to everything. If you have an exterior room closing the doors and curtains reduces the level of noise (lots of music) but bring earplugs. What I thought was lacking was the lack of coffee or any cups in the room. Cups or glasses were not available at the front des. When we asked we were told that they are no longer furnished because often they were broken by guests. The elevator was out of order as was our lock box. Finally I thought that the hotel had a restaurant and bar. When I asked I was told that the restaurant was next door.

My experience at San Diego Hotel was great, location is great, everything is within walking distance, rooms are clean and roomy, staff is very friendly and helpful. I would come back to this hotel and will recommend it to family and friends.

the noise was terrible we stay on room 105 right on the street next to all bars we can't sleep at all, No air conditioner the temperature at the room was very high

Hotel is located right at the heart of Guanajuato. The view was amazing, we were able to see the callejoneadas, listen to the norteño and mariachi playing in the plaza and buy delicious ezquite literally in front of the entrance of the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful historical hotel located right in the center of downtown. This is our second time staying at this hotel and we love it! The views are amazing and the staff is helpful and friendly. We will be back soon.

Location great and not so great. Easy walk to many restaurants But right in front of the hotel celebrations started at 7:00 pm thru 5:00 am. No sleep plus no air conditioning so room extremely warm. King bed and shower was great. Hotel parking does not exist but a 5-10 minute walk to parking lot Staff does help with carrying your luggage to your car.
