Check in was weird. Wide and tall counter which is not convenient for short people. I had to stand on my tippy toes to grab what was given to me. When I checked in, I could only see the persons forehead as she was sitting in a low chair. For the price, it’s not bad. Hallways smelled of cigarettes but the room did not.

Hypodermic needle in the grass, stunk like weed & cigarettes, dirty, towels & bedsheets were stained. Someone’s clump of hair on the side of the shower wall. soap plastic wrapper that was opened from before still in the shower

No coffee maker in room or in lobby. Kitchen was inoperative. No water in the sink, stove did not work. Rooms were very run down and needed upgrading.

My husband & I stayed here 2x already and we enjoyed both stayed. It fits our budget and near both foxwood & Mohegan which we went to see a show both time & enjoyed shopping and gambling at the casino too. It fits our pricing budget and we will continue to go back . From staffing being so nice , cleaned room, and quiet from the loud noise inside the casino . Excellent stay !!! Will return over & over in our King 1 bedroom stay .,

Economical Stay

We were just staying overnight, so we didn't need all the amenities that you pay for at a higher-priced hotel. Gold Star Inn met our needs. The staff was accommodating and very nice. It is an older hotel, and there were some paint and furnishing upgrades, but some of the infrastructure needed improvement. Overall, it was a good night's stay.

Filthiest, most run down room I've EVER stayed in. I wouldn't even let my socks touch the floor, and Thank God I had my own sheets and pillowcases! I just covered the entire bed. A million dollars wouldn't make me go there again!
