The resort was alright, the staff were very warm and friendly. But there were plumbing issues, seems like a general problem throughout the buildings. The main door to my room was sticking a lot and very noisy when closing. The WiFi was down for almost an entire day so that was an issue. The good thing is the fact that it’s directly on a beach (beach resort) which is beautiful plus there’s a huge pool. Also the staff being friendly and service was good. They tried to help out with any issue and were very kind and understanding.

Loved the room. Except for toilet issue and safe issue. The cleaning lady was great!! Front desk ok except for when we asked to borrow a bottle opener and the night person said twice that he’d bring one, but after half hr we want to bar. If he didn’t have a bottle opener, just say so. He never came to room. Hated the room key bracelet. My husband lost his. He went to desk. He paid $20.00 for a new one. When we checked out we were charged again. You said he still owed for it. We did not. He didn’t want to argue with the desk. We had to catch our taxi. One night we had dinner. I ordered fish. I waited 30 minutes for my dinner while the others in party were eating their meals (not fish). Not much of an apology and no reason was given. The beautiful beach was the best part. Most employees were very nice. Does these remarks even matter? I doubt it.

The Bay Garden Beach Resort and Spa was an awesome place to stay. Everywhere was extremely clean. The food was fantastic and the beach… I can’t even. Staff are quite wonderful, friendly and helpful except when things are very busy they can be a bit curt. I had the most wonderful experience, the size of the hotel allows for conversation with other guests and getting to know people. And the views are spectacular. My only two negatives are that I booked a “garden view” room but the garden was torn down and it was a complete area under construction. Noise included. I could not sit on my balcony. I was not notified in advance of this change or offered any alternatives. Nothing was done about that except to apologize for it. Second, it’s not easy to just get up and get a good good cup of coffee. I wish there was a station where people could go at whatever time and make their own coffee and bring it back to their room.

We had a great time on vacation in st Lucia. Getting to the hotel from the airport is about a hour and half ride so take that in consideration when booking. The overall experience of the vacation was great. The dinning was a little slow at times to get your food but you’re on vacation. The bar by the pool was great and the drinks were always flowing. I would definitely return to this hotel we had a great time with our family.

Overall we had a great time at Bay Gardens. They have 3 locations with a pool, restaurant, and bar at each location. The shuttle will bring you to any of the locations. We did all inclusive through Expedia because it was significantly cheaper than all inclusive through Bay Gardens. There are a couple of things we saw on Bay Gardens website that came with the all inclusive plan like "stay 7 nights comes with four 30 minute massages" and a "dine around program" where you get passes to eat at some restaurants in the area. But when we asked about those things the staff was very rude when they were telling us that those things are only available when you book directly through them. So our all inclusive plan left us with 3 restaurants to eat at over a nine day span. Breakfast was always fine with a buffet every day with lots of options. Lunch we did at all 3 restaurants and it was fine, but we did do some lunches off the resort, which was great too. Highly recommend "Wings & Tings" which is off the resort. Dinner was a problem multiple times though. The 3 restaurants open at 7, which is very late for our 2 year old, especially when she's busy having fun all day. She was exhausted by dinner every day. The Hotel and Marina restaurants were great, fast, kind staff. The HiTide restaurant at the beach resort I would not recommend for dinner. 90 minute waits for our food both times we ate dinner there, staff was not kind. Water Park was really fun. Overall, I would recommend Bay Gardens.

I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The staff were amazing and the beach is nice. Location is great and there’s a shuttle. The only thing I didn’t like was that getting hot water was dependent on the time of day you decide to shower. Morning and evening/night showers were cool to luke warm temperature at best. One evening I only had drips of water to bathe with. The best time to shower would be afternoon/early evening which isn’t convenient.

I went with my mom and 2 children (4 years old and 10 years old). This is a small resort in comparison to other all inclusive resorts I’ve stayed at, however, it is a nicely laid out resort with easy access to everything. My children loved the beach and the water park. The staff in every department were very friendly and helpful. The food is satisfying. When dinner is not buffet style, there is a bit of a wait for your order when the restaurant is full. One thing to note, is the outlets in the rooms, we are from Toronto, outlets do not match our charging cords. Thankfully the resort provided us with an adapter. However, it would be nice to know that adapters are needed ahead of time, maybe it’s stated on the resorts website and I missed it. The resort provides a shuttle, for a fee, to the Friday night street festival. If you’re a lover of music, you’ll definitely want to take a taxi back and not the shuttle as the shuttle leaves the street festival at 10:30, just as the best music starts playing. Overall, very enjoyable family vacation. I would definitely return to Bay Gardens Beach Resort.
