Overall, a great place with convenient downtown location. All of downtown is within walking distance. The location is also surprisingly quiet. The hotel and room were exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was better than most hotels. We never did see evidence of the advertised in hotel restaurant. The only negative aspect was the bed. The mattress was old and sank to the middle. It provided no support.

We planned to stay for 2 nights because we visited Homes with a Realtor. But we ended up checking out after 1 night because we had a sleepless night after 2 Dogs were barking repeatedly in the rooms next to us. We have Dogs too and we would never leave them alone in a Hotel Room especially until after Midnight and after that. The sofa in the room had stains all over it (we have pictures and post them in the Google review we will write) and smelled like a Dog. We had Dog's in the Breakfast area during our visit and this is just not OK it is a Restaurant and Dogs have no business in that area. I think it is good to have Dog-friendly Hotels but a Hotel should have rooms for that and give non Dog rooms to regular customers. We told the Lady at the reception about the problem but she ignored it and did not even apologize. She worked at the reception on Saturday 08/03/2024 at around 8 am. We stayed at Hyatt's in Europe, USA and Asia but this one here in Greenville was by fare the worst one and should not wear the Name Hyatt.
