Although there’s a pool, it’s been closed all summer. Although there’s a breakfast lounge they stopped serving breakfast. Nice hotel and very convenient to go ahopping for anything nearby.

Property was dirty, as well the room. There were cigarette burns in the bedding and the room the non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. It felt very unsafe as well, and appeared to have unhoused people hanging around outside. I usually stay in a place once I check in, as I can overlook some shortcomings when I pay a lower price. After about 2 hours I decided to find a better place to stay for the night.

This property was horrible. The pool looked like a pond. The breakfast that was advertised wasn't available. There were homeless people and drug dealers in the parking lot. The room wad filthy. The toilet was broken. It smelled like mold. The police were at the property twice in the 3 days we stayed. It was so bad, we left a day early. Never again!

This property had false advertisement on the website, it had that the pool was up and open for the public...the pool was not open in fact it was GREEN!!! The staff was great because she did cancel my reservation without any issues.

This hotel was terrible. It was not clean, smelled so badly of cigarettes, the pool looked like swamp water, and it did not appear to be a family destination by any means. We literally walked into our hotel and walked right back out to find a new place to stay. Do not recommend.

I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson by Wyndham in Greensboro, and my experience was profoundly disappointing and concerning. The reality of the hotel did not match the outdated and misleading photos on Expedia. Despite not expecting a five-star experience, I anticipated a decent stay, which was far from what I encountered. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes and urine. The lobby was in disrepair, with an abandoned breakfast area, missing ceiling tiles, and water leaking into a green tote. Room Experiences I had to be switch 5x Room 227: Already occupied by someone else upon arrival. The surrounding area featured visible signs of illegal activities, including prostitution and drug deals. Room 157: Air conditioning was broken, exposed wiring, insects in the bathroom light cover, cigarette butts in the toilet, mold on the ceiling, a leaking sink, broken drawer handles, dirty sheets, and black specks on the bed. Room 212: Broken air conditioning unit, no smoke detector, no washcloths, and insects in the bathroom light cover. Room 254: The door release stopped working. Room 252: Found a frozen ziplock bag of lunch meat and hamburgers in the freezer. Pool Area: The pool was neglected, full of algae, and not properly secured, posing a safety risk for children. Multiple calls to Expedia resulted in temporary relocations and reassurances, but ultimately no resolution. The management team at the hotel was sympathetic but was limited

This hotel was the place the bag lady and homeless counted their days take and rented a room for the night. Smelled bad from all the smoking of tobacco and other stuff outside. It didn't feel unsafe, just unsavory. They had no breakfast and the pool was empty.

The weekend from hell
This was the most horrible experience ever. The first room the air didn’t work. It took at least an hour to get another room because the lady at the front desk disappeared. There was 1 towel. 1 wash cloth. 1 hand towel in the room. So house keeping wouldn’t be back til the next day. We got up to do breakfast the next day but guess what no breakfast like u advertised. We go visit family to come back to our room and house keeping didn’t even go into our room to clean or deliver towels etc or toilet paper. For 2 days no towels or toilet paper from the establishment. Had to buy our own. Then it was filthy and run down. Drug activity the whole entire weekend. Prostitution. Just sad. U need to update how you advertise the rundown places. The pool didn’t have one drop of water in it. I’ll probably never use this site again.
