It seemed liked someone lives in there, but the cleaning wasn't done. I have standards.

Same opinion as previous reviews. Not so great.
Check in was a mess. Address was incorrect on listing. Drove to someone else's place to check in which was dangerous. Hosts grocery and belongings still in house. Couch was dirty and cover didn't fit. No key lock available. Was advised to text a number outside VRBO app to attain check in instructions. Door left unlocked to attain key. Someone is living in the VRBO. Host blamed me for odor in house . All plug ins were empty. Not enough towels and washcloths. No trash cans available. No mop available to clean floor that was dirty. I had to clean up when I checked in by vacuuming carpet and under couch pillows. Took pics of rice and debree under cushions. Host blamed me for a missing purse! (How?). Unusual VRBO experience . Tried to make it work by cleaning and using fragrances during my stay. I agree with all the previous reviews of other renters. A few improvements need to be made to make it a more comfortable stay. Valient effort by host but not as organized or clean as other rentals that I have stayed at. unlocked for check in.

Worst place I have ever encountered! Couldn't stay smelly and gross!
Gave us the wrong address 20 minutes away. Dirty and reeks of fried greese and cigarettes. Had food everywhere. Open food in the refrigerator and on the countertop. Left the door unlocked and never gave us a key. Said it was on the table but wasn't. Had to leave because it was so gross and couldn't lock the door when we left. counter

Unfortunate
Smelled like smokers had lived there at some point for a long time- smell was severe. Cleaning supplies left out everywhere. Beds were both air mattresses. Personal belongings of owners stuffed into all the closets. Owner did not tell me where the key was during check in, so had to wait on them to text me back 45 minutes before I could leave the apartment with my belongings. No anutomatic lock- they just left the door open meaning anyone could have walked into the apartment during the 5 hours between my check in time and arrival. Also sliding door did not lock without needing a phone call to explain how to rig it to lock. So could not go to bed until the phone call happened. I hate leaving a bad review but I would have wanted to know these things before purchase.
