Family trip to visit NC Zoo. Our experience from check-in through check-out was exceptional! Loved the breakfast and Kick-back dinner...no need for outside dining and the daily "adult beverage" vouchers were really appreciated. I had an amazing stay at the Drury, the only thing was that the location of the Hotel doesn’t seem to be safe.There was a lot of strange activity going on around the hotel.

It wasn't unacceptably bad, but it seems to be located in a bad area. Hallways & elevator reeked of smoke. Room did too. Had to switch to one near reception that was noisy. Decore was like a prison. Lots of space. Neat main reception area. Food was better than average. Beds were uncomfortale.

Did not live up to standards
Did not live up to pictures and rating . Desk was rude and did not pick up the phone for around 10 minutes. When we went to our room the elevator and the hallway smelled strongly of weed. We woke up to people cussing at each other in hallway. I would give this 3 stars at best. It was older and grungier than other hotels we have stayed at.
