House Rules (must meet these to book): Rents Sat-Sat only during high season (last week of June - start of Sept), Sleeps family of 12 (max 8 adults). Lead guest must be 30+ years of age, a max of 2 non-shedding dogs up to 50 lbs. are welcome, but no cats please, Linens & indoor towels are provided for all rentals; please bring your own outdoor towels. A cleaning service is provided for all reservations; however, the property is to be left in a tidy condition. No parties allowed. A supplemental information form must be completed.

Welcome to "Madawaska Memories," your perfect escape to a newly built luxury cottage rental nestled on the picturesque shores of the Madawaska River with beautiful waterfront views. The cottage was designed to provide everything a guest could desire - a hot tub, modern amenities, unlimited Wi-Fi, two fireplaces, central AC, and much more! With its ideal location, this beautiful cottage offers year-round comfort and relaxation for groups. Whether you desire a cozy winter retreat or a summer oasis, Madawaska Memories has it all!

As you step into the cottage, you will be greeted by a warm and inviting interior that effortlessly accommodates up to 12 guests (max 8 adults). The cottage boasts four stylish bedrooms, each furnished with comfortable queen beds. Additionally, the cottage includes a queen-sized Murphy bed upstairs and a pull-out queen bed downstairs to ensure ample space for everyone.

The cottage includes 3 bathrooms and modern amenities, including unlimited Wi-Fi, a dishwasher and washer/dryer, while central air conditioning keeps the entire cottage cool during the summer months. For ultimate comfort, the cottage features two gas fireplaces, creating a cozy atmosphere for those cooler evenings.

The cottage has two smart TVs equipped with satellite channels and unlimited Wi-Fi to keep you connected throughout your stay. Moreover, a dedicated office space is also available. The cottage is also equipped with an automatic generator, ensuring uninterrupted comfort for the entire duration of your visit.

As you step outside, a world of natural wonders awaits. Admire the captivating waterfront views from the beautiful deck, where you can unwind with your group and have a BBQ or enjoy the fire table. For pure relaxation, take a dip in the hot tub and enjoy stargazing or waterfront views or gather around the firepit. The dock allows easy access to the water and the cottage includes two adult kayaks.

The cottage is nearby many great attractions including the famous Bon Echo Provincial Park (~30 min drive), Centennial Lake Provincial Nature Reserve Park, and many great small towns to explore for a day trip. Calabogie (30 min drive) also offers many great golf courses. In the winter, the cottage is located near many great snowmobile trails and is only 30 minutes away from Calabogie's downhill ski hill!

Good snow tires are required for winter access
The cottage waterfront has northwestern exposure and both sunrise and sunset views
Before engaging in winter activities, ensure to check the ice and weather conditions.



Waterfront The lake bottom is a mix of rock, sand/pebble, and silt. There are some weeds, but it's generally good for swimming. The dock is in place year-round.



Close-By Attractions

Bon Echo Provincial Park. Beautiful park featuring a 100 metre high Mazinaw Rock featuring over 260 Indigenous pictographs. Great hiking trails from 1 km in length to 17 km in length are available for use from mid May to mid October. (35 mins)

Golfing. Calabogie has two golf courses you can choose from - Ironwoods Golf Course and Calabogie Highlands Golf Course, both about 30 minutes from the cottage.

Centennial Lake Provincial Nature Reserve Park. Nature reserve offering hiking trails. This area is protected for its unusual geological features and many rare plant species, with several lakes and creeks, steep hills, ridges of bare rock and stands of mixed forest. (30 mins)

Winter Activities. Ice fishing is available (when ice conditions permit), and the cottage is just 35 minutes from Calabogie for downhill skiing, 25 minutes away from cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails, and for snowmobiling, Trail E102 runs right by on Centennial Lake.
