Overall a nice Super 8, affordable and very convenient for the wedding we attended in Lake City. Was not made aware at check-in that housekeeping had to be requested via a sheet stuck in the door (?) but still didn’t receive service even when I asked at the desk. Had to come get new sheets at 10:40 pm when we returned to the property and change the beds myself as I had stripped them earlier in the day.

Lovely staff, clean. Highway sounds rather loud
Romm and hallways were clean. My only reason for one downgrade was the condition of the sidewalk...which was broken up when we were there a year ago, and which I would consider a hazard for many people.

This place has cockroaches! We found them in our room and requested a room change. They put me in the room directly across the hall (110) from the room I was already in (111) I moved the refrigerator away from the wall and sure enough a cockroach. Also one behind the dresser. We checked out and were able to get a refund through Expedia. Not only disgusting but so inconvenient as we were in town for a funeral and struggled to find a place for the dogs during the service. Cockroaches in TWO rooms…running around, that place must be infested if the roaches are coming out while the lights are on and just running up the walls like the one in our room did

Over the past decade, we have stayed at this same facility on our way north to the U.P. and on our way home to Indiana. It has deteriorated in service and amenities since we last visited two years ago. We will find other accommodations for the future. Sorry, but those are the facts.

Loud at night unable to sleep left early. Had man yelling profanity and pounding on my door at 1 am scared me to death called desk they talked to him but he kept yelling until around 3 am. I left after that night. The beds are hard and sheets and blankets very thin. I did not feel safe at this property.

The bathroom was not cleaned and the floors in the bedroom need cleaning. The room was not cleaned with and attention to detail. The air condition was loud and either did not cool or it was too cool.

Clean and quiet
We asked for a room that had not previously had any pets in it. They gave us a room on the 2nd floor with new carpet. Linens and towels were clean. Overall room was very clean and smelled fresh. We had a room with one queen bed which had a small table with 2 chairs and a upholstered chair. Bed was comfortable but there was only one nightstand. Bath vanity doesn't have much space, but it was fine for a couple day stay. No elevator if that's important to you. Main complaint was there was no guide on the tv. You had to flip through channels to find something to watch. I asked them what tv service they used, and they said they didn't know. The gave us a tv channel list that was incorrect. Other than that, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
