The accommodation
Enter Buttercup Lodge into a spacious hallway. It is a ground floor property with level access into all of the rooms and spaces.
To your left is the light and spacious open plan kitchen, dining and living area.
Open plan area
The kitchen is well-equipped (with rise and fall work tops) and has everything you’ll need to prepare snacks and meals during your self-catering holiday at Boothby. As well as the electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster – there’s a coffee machine (a supply of pods is provided) plus utensils, cutlery, crockery, glassware and pots and pans. The really good news is there’s a dishwasher as well! There’s also a washing machine to make life a little bit easier for you.
The dining table comfortably seats all 4 guests. It’s in a light and airy space next to the sliding doors that lead out onto the patio so in the warmer months you can open them wide and bring the outside in. Start the day with breakfast on the patio in the morning sun listening to the birdsong. Then enjoy evenings dining al fresco under the stars – either cooking up some favourites on the BBQ, or just bringing some nibbles out from the kitchen. Either way you can sit back and take in the glorious surrounding countryside views and plan your next days of adventures.
The lounge area has plenty of comfy seating to curl up on and watch your favourite shows or maybe a movie on the Smart TV. Those that like to stay connected to the outside world will be pleased to hear we have WiFi! There’s an electric wood burner to keep you warm and toasty when needed (as well as underfloor heating throughout provided by an air source heat pump).
Bedrooms & bathrooms
Buttercup Lodge has two spacious bedrooms, both with super-kingsize zip and link beds that can be made into two singles on request. The beds will be made up with luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen, all ready for you to sink into and drift off into a peaceful sleep in our quiet, rural location.
The first bedroom is set up as a super-king size bed (can be made into twin beds on request). It has a large window that looks out across the patio and countryside beyond. There is an en-suite accessible wetroom with a walk-in shower, washbasin with mirror above, toilet and a heated towel rail. A door leads from this wet room straight out to the hot tub on the patio so it’s easy to come in and dry off after an evening spent chilling under the stars.
The second bedroom is made up as a twin room (or can be a king-size upon request). It is just as light and roomy, with views out to the front of the accommodation, onto the seating area and the countryside beyond. It leads onto a stylish Jack & Jill bathroom (which can also be accessed via the hallway) with a washbasin (with mirrior above), a walk-in shower, a toilet and a heated towel rail.
Soft, fluffy towels, robes and toiletries are all provided.
Outside
All the luxury touches continue outside, where you have a private back garden with a secluded patio, your own hot tub (hot tub towels are provided) and a BBQ. There are two seating areas – both at the back and the front of the lodge. Clever landscaping ensures your privacy without obscuring the gorgeous panoramic countryside views so you can enjoy quality time together when you return from your days out exploring Lincolnshire.
Parking
There is parking available for two cars, along with an Electric Vehicle Charging point and bike storage.
NB: This is a pet-free property and we do not allow smoking either in the lodges or grounds.
