Beautiful hotel in a spectacular setting. Staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Anette who really went the extra mile giving us a tour of the chapel and wine cellar. Great meal in the restaurant and hearty breakfast the following morning. Highly recommended.

There is a new ”chef” in the restaurant kitchen. We had delicius char with asparagus at the main course and cheese with fig as desert.

Charming but needs some shaping up
+Staff was super friendly and professonal. nice room (top suite) with view. Comfortable beds, quite. - no toothpaste in reception. pillow way too small and flat, when asked for more, could only provide 2 extra pillows even though hotel was pretty emtpy. Glass shatter on bathroom floor. Too hot in rooms (due to no AC and too many insects outdoors). Breakfast could be better.

Amazing place
An amazing stay; we stayed in room 123, which is the suite with a balcony--and it was so much better than we could have hoped. A sweeping view of the lake, the room was also comfortable and quiet. I understand why Greta Garbo supposedly stayed there when she visited.

Out hotel stay was wonderful. The restaurant dinner and free breakfast were delicious! The bar and deck facing the lake were amazing! The room was comfortable and the bed was very nice! We’ll definitely stay again if we ever return to the area.

Extraordinary experience!!
It was the most amazing place we have ever experienced. The overwhelming view from the bedroom, the restaurant and the cafe with the outdoor sitting, just about everywhere brought us an indescribable peace and calm. To top that the food and service was commendable. Thank you for this experience!

Bad and would not recommend it to anyone
Before cleaning or cleaning towels. The fridge in the room did not work. The room seemed worn and in bad style. The windows were dirty so we could not enjoy the otherwise beautiful view. The food at the hotel was way too expensive and nothing to write home about. We ordered an Aperol Spritz. Besides not tasting good, there were no ice cubes and the orange slice sat on the edge of the glass. It was clear that the staff was not trained or properly trained. All in all, an overly expensive and boring experience.
