Could this be the perfect base for your Lake District adventures?
Step inside this romantic 18th century cottage into the welcoming living room. Hang up your coat and kick off your muddy boots in the porch, after a long day walking in the beautiful Lake District. Cuddle up on the cosy corner sofa next to a crackling fire on the open fireplace and enjoy an evening of relaxation. *please bring your own supplies for the fire - only firelighters and a handful of kindling and starter logs will be provided in the winter months*
Carry on through the living room into your country kitchen. Cook a delicious meal on the brand-new Range cooker and sit down at the cosy dining table to enjoy your romantic dinner. Take a moment to watch all the different variations of rare birds at the feeder, just outside the window.
Head back through the living room and climb the carpeted stairs to reach the stunning main bedroom. A cosy room filled with character from the exposed log beams, slate windowsills and gorgeous views of the surrounding fells. Have a relaxing soak in the huge corner bath in the en-suite bathroom.
Outside:
Pull on your boots and adventure cloak to explore the glorious grounds surrounding Bluebell Wood Cottage. Cross over the stream using the beautiful stone-built bridge and wander around the acre woodland. Or enjoy a glass of fizz in the brand-new hot tub whilst watching the setting sun.
A starter pack of 2 instant lighting logs will be provided for your stay.
Should you wish to buy more logs, you can buy these at the Newby Bridge service station or the store in Cartmel.
